I've never eaten here in person but I've ordered take out and delivery dozens of times. Their grandpa pie is amazing. So are... their entrees. A bit pricier than other nearby pizzarias but like the saying goes: "you get what you pay for!" You can tellthey put a lot of effort into each meal to ensure perfection. And the pizza? It's not that weird Bisquick crust you get atother local pizza places, nor is the crust so crispy your eating a saltine; it's crunchy yet chewy... Just right. Loved the place. I always order whole pizza pie which is fresh and tastes good. Today, I randomly came to order some slices to... go. When I came in, I saw a fresh cheese pizza pie that just came out of the oven, so I knew I wanted that one. When I orderedsome slices I didn?t see the guy cut the fresh pie, but instead gave me some random dry slices he heated in their oven andhanded to me. Awful service over the phone. Sent out a coupon to new area residents, won?t honor it for delivery even though it doesn?t state... you have to eat in for the free pie. I know. It's a pizza place but I really like the description of the new Asian salad that is supposed to include mixed baby... greens, sliced Asian pears, candy pecans, sesame seeds, cilantro and Gorgonzola cheese served with an orange ginger dressing....So I ordered it and added grilled shrimp with the dressing on the side. I also ordered the pasta fagioli soup. I took away twostars for two very good reasons. One, the salad was missing the candied pecans, the sesame seeds and the cilantro. That beingsaid, it was still delicious. That dressing is phenomenal and the shrimp are cooked perfectly. The Gorgonzola wasn't too pungentand had the right amount. The greens were fresh and my dressing was on the side as requested. The soup, on the other hand, isthe worst tasting pasta fagiolli I've ever had. It's so bland that I can't wait until tomorrow to put it back on the stove andadd my own seasonings. (I think it's salt free) The vegetables are also chopped too large and the pasta should always be kept onthe side even if you're packing it to go. It was definitely overcooked. Pricing is overall good and I didn't have to use acompany like Uber eats. I like be able to just call and get it delivered. It came in record time so a plus for that. I wouldjust say work on your soup and definitely make sure you have all the ingredients in your dishes that you list on your menus. Read more
We haven?t ordered from here in a while but I remember the food being pretty good. Needless to say, my memory sucks. The pizza... was too burnt to eat the crust you can see in the photo. When ordering, I specifically asked if marinara came with the garlicknots and was told it does. I picked up my order in 25 minutes instead of waiting the 45m-1hr. Everything was over cooked and Ididn?t get marinara. I should have checked everything before leaving but I remember it being good food. I called and explainedwhat happened and they said I can come pick up the sauce. I asked if they had any drivers delivering near my area and if theycould drop it off since I had already begun eating the over cooked pizza. They said they were too busy and it would take 45minutes and if I would just pick it up that it would only take 1 minute. I don?t know anyone who lives 20 seconds away from thisplace to go there, collect the sauce and return home but I guess it is possible.
