I have visited several times but today 11/18/2022 was not a good experience. I ordered a snappy dog meal. The snappy dog was not... hot and the fries seemed to be cooked in old cooking oil. I also order chicken tenders which were inedible. The tenders were notcooked through and the coating was soggy. The wait was extremely long and at first i reveived the wrong order. August 2022: Trying something new and stumbled upon this place. Usually, these types of places are gold mine for unique... taste. I ordered a "valley boy" hamburger (with the special sauce) and a chili dog. Pros: * The food was good and hot as ifthey took out of the hot oil. The hot dog ???? was tasty. * staff was very friendly * Food did not take too long to reach me.Maybe 5-10 minutes after ordering * cost was okay at $8. Cons: * drive through only. * The chili dog was a touch skimpy on thechili. I cannot call it Chilli because it did not have beans or meat in it. Conclusion: I will return. Read more
Traffic is making this place a s*** show at the moment, unfortunately because I couldn't eat in the location, the dogs ended up... getting super soggy as I drove around finding a picnic shelter. I'll give it another chance when I'm out on that side of townagain, but they're really overdoing the toppings on their chicago-style dogs called the Windy City. Only reason they got any stars was based on the food, which is good. However, customer service is AWFUL!!!!! They are very... rude, very very rude. They rush you to order and huff and puff if you don't order fast enough. One person even suggested we gohome and come back when we knew what we wanted. They often also close early. Got there at 6:30 once and they said, we close at7 so were not taking anymore orders. Well, then close at 6:30!!!!!! I will be more than happy to. I was with who is now myex, so I have a witness. It was a few years ago, 2018 I believe. In October. I will get the exact date from her as she has abetter memory than I do. You are more than welcome to sue me all you want. Ate here for the first time over the weekend after hearing about this place. We each got a hot dog with chili and onions, fries... and onion rings. Chili was fine. Not a sweeter chili like some other places but good. Onions looked fresh. Hot dogs were good.Soft buns which is always nice! Will definitely order again! The fries were a bit too over cooked. I don?t usually care forover cooked fries because it changes the taste but they still seemed fine. Crispy as well which is good. They looked fresh cut.Would order again. There was a slight problem with the onion rings and I wouldn?t even say it?s the restaurants fault but someof the rings get oil trapped in them so when you take the first bite a lot of oil poured out. I know they have to be fried inoil to be cooked so not sure what could change to fix that, like I said, not necessarily their fault. After the first one wejust kinda broke a hole in the breading to sort of drain it if it had oil trapped inside. They were still crunchy and tastedgreat, would definitely still order again! The employees were quick to get to us. Food came out quick. It wasn?t busy while wewere there so they kinda just hung out outside of our view doing whatever, one cleaning windows. They all seemed nice. The guywho took our order even let us know about some items available but not on the menu yet.
