Thought it was a super cool place, but the food was just slightly underwhelming. It was very tasty, but what the menu called a... 1st time to stop in Parawon and decided to try Calvarios and it was a great decision. My wife had the Chicken Quesadilla and... she said it was the best she has ever had. I had the Cowboy Skillet which was amazing - on the spicy side which I love. Read more
Amazing Mexican food! We went for lunch on our way down route 70. The corn tortillas were fresh and had great texture. The... carnitas were tasty! The mother town burrito was phenomenal. Great depth of flavor, and the salsa verde was perfect with a smallspice kick. If we lived closer we would be back frequently! Read more
You'd be a fool to go to Parowan or Cedar City and miss Calvario's. The best Mexican food and great people working there. Also... good prices. Try the Mother Town if you love maximalism. Read more

This was a nice finding in Parowan. We had the Chili Verde Breakfast Burrito, French Toast and a mini carne asada taco (and when... I say mini, I mean it ????). But the rest of the food portions were fair for the price. The burrito was the BOMB! I added somemild green salsa and took it to a whole other level! The waitress was sweet and checked on us a few times, and even the owner(chef) came out to check on us. I loved how cozy the place was. It definitely brought some memories of my childhood back. The food was delicious! The staff was on top of everything and attentive. Our food came out quickly and piping hot! The chili... rellenos and shrimp tacos were perfect! The fried oreos are such a fun, sweet treat. There wasn't much left to take home becausewe gobbled it up. Fair warning, if you eat here it will be hard to put your fork down. Read more
