Slow, terrible service with cold food. Having eaten at so many Mexican restaurants, we can honestly say this was, by far, the... worst food quality. We went there thinking that we will have good selection of vegetarian food. Enchiladas were just shreddedmozzarella cheese wrapped in cold tortilla and topped with verde sauce. I think this is my 4th time at this place. Today, we had the churrasco which was fantastic! Also the kids quesadillas and tacos.... The enchiladas in salsa verda was a bit spicy but delicious as well. I couldn't stop taking pictures of all the art they have inthe place. Read more
Idk how this place has close to 5 stars but for what we ordered... my final conclusion was that the food was DRY AND LACKED... FLAVOR!! My husband and I ordered a Cuban Cemitas ( which is a LARGE sandwich for $14) and tacos that came for 4 for $11.. wehave tried most of the Mexican restaurants in Parsippany and this place we would like to give another chance but if theflavor of the dishes taste like what we recently ordered ... then it would be a no go... the sandwich was PACKED with meats,Mexican cheese and avocado.. but it was so dry I couldn't eat the rest because I filled myself up with water after each bitedue to the dryness of the meat and thickness of the bread.. the tacos needed a beat more seasoning and the side order of riceand beans were Luke warm not even hot.. plus we hardly got any beans in our dish.. ... maybe this place only has certain dishesthat taste good but I wouldn't recommend the ones we purchased ????. Food was out of this world. First time take out everything was packaged nicely and stayed warmed. Utensils were given without... being asked. Nacho supremo was immaculate and topped with fresh avocado. Only request would be for extra chips on the side assome were very soggy on bottom. Requested a veggie burrito was delicious. Rice and beans flavored nicely. Steak tacos came in 4,asked for lettuce and tomato on top. So much food! Read more
Unfortunately we didn’t have a good experience with the food, we ordered a variety of dishes but could care less. The... chilaquiles sauce was bitter, The dough for the sopes was super salty, my daughter couldn’t eat it. The pozole didn’t haveany flavor The homemade guacamole was not fresh, it was refrigerated and the lime tasted old The mole was ok, along with the alpastor tacos but nothing was great. The staff was ok, not so friendly but not rude. We didn’t eat alot of the food since itdidn’t taste good and didn’t even bother to take the leftovers.
