Could have been 5 stars but staff is evidently allowed to play on their phones during work hours. Upon entering restaurant, of... the 3 hostesses, 2 were absolutely glued to their phone. The thin somewhat taller girl was doing all the work while the other2 sat on their bottoms. Waiter was average. Food was delicious as was their selection on beer. I went boring with Dogfish, mydining partner with Stacy's Mom. He has a new love lol. Restaurant was very clean and welcoming, some flies (expected),restrooms very clean. Cool sign tells you how to tell if restroom is occupied. Overall kudos to chef and bartender, good jobto wait staff, major fail upon first impressions. Read more
What?s not to love about a wood fired oven and hand made pizza? The menu was detailed and offered various selections for any... course throughout the day or evening. We enjoyed the beer list and the descriptions were helpful and a tasting offered made ourselections easy. Excellent preparation on our salad and pizza. Everything was fresh and flavorful; the ingredients wereexecuted well and presented excellent flavors throughout our lunch. Read more
We had the burrito and the special of the day habanero tacos ( super spicy). We had beer too and that was refreshing and... tasty. The ambiance out on the back patio was relaxing. Older couples like us as well as young families and groups were havinga nice time Read more
My Husband and I have loved this restaurant and have patronized them many times however, this past visit was not great. We... ordered nachos with crab dip, crab dip was an extra 13 dollars, happy to pay that but when they came out there was no crab dip.When we brought it to our waitress?s attention she started pointing to a white sauce that looked just like the queso that camewith our burrito and said that was the crab dip. We are both Marylanders, crab has a very distinctive flavor as well as texture.There was no crab dip on these chips. They were tasty but to be told and then have someone even point to a sauce and tell youit?s crab dip is very disappointing. Very good food fun place. The pizza is some of the best I've had, and the roasted vegetables as a side is the way to go.
The wife and I love Tall Tales. Great food. VERY cool place and atmosphere. Awesome staff. Love the beer too! Been going there... since they first opened. Rob (I think thats his name) is awesome. Read more

To call this a brewery would be a tall tale... Of the 12 or so beers they had on tap, 3 or 4 were theirs. Usually when I visit a... brewery, it's a laid back atmosphere where you're able to walk up to a bar and order a beer. Usually if it has a restaurant,you're still able to order a beer while you're waiting. Not here... Here you have to wait because they don't have bar tenders...at a brewery... Eventually we got a table. The crab dip and the cheese steak bowl were good (the only reason for two stars...).The tacos we got were awful. My wife couldn't finish them so we ordered a crab dip pizza. We got a regular crab dip with breadand had waited too long to correct her... At that point we were ready to get out of this place.
