All restaurants should strive to be like Domenico’s. Their staff members are kind and professional, their kitchen is clean,... and their food is absolutely delicious. I also deliver their food via DoorDash and they genuinely respect my time as a driver.The food is ready to be picked up 90% of the time and if it’s not yet ready, they provide an accurate wait time instead of theclassic “5 minutes” most restaurants would claim. My family has been going to Domenico’s for years and we have always loved their food! They’ve since re-modeled the interior... of their restaurant. Honestly I miss the old setup, it had a more homemade, mom and pop shop type of feel. Now it’s morecorporate. But the food still tastes amazing! It’s been a while since I’ve visited but they’ve always had the besttortellini pasta! That with a side of garlic bread is really the chefs kiss! For dessert make sure to try out their signaturetruffles! I always get the White chocolate Amore. Perfect way to end the meal! Read more
This is my favorite Italian food place in Pasadena. Their prices are fair and their food is always tasty. I got their Cheese... Ravioli/Spaghetti combo plate $12.25 and it was fantastic. With pickup and delivery becoming extremely popular out of necessity, I decided it was time to give an old stand-by a call. What... a great experience! After I got the information from the recorded announcement, I ordered online. Even with my limited techknowledge, it was easy. After about 5 minutes I received a call from Domenico's to double check my order. I had inadvertentlyordered twice. I was very pleased at their thorough follow-up. The girl at the other end of line confirmed my order andindicated when it would be ready. I received text updates as the driver left the business and made his way to my location. Itwas an easy process. When he arrived,he was very courteous and made sure I had what had been ordered. Everything was packedin a sanitized way, and the food was still hot. I enjoyed the Big "D" special pizza and garlic bread with cheese. Their flavorswere on point, and it was nice to have leftovers for another couple meals. I know everybody's very protective of their pizzapreference, but this was excellent! It's nice to support a family-owned business with a great reputation. Horrible Italian food. This place has an old school feel but without the great food. The pasta was overcooked so it was mushy.... You could telll a lot of the food was frozen and reheated - like the zuchini sticks. A big dissapointment. Read more
Used to be great, now it's kind of questionable I used to live on their salads, but now they're pretty bad. I wouldn't order... their Caesar or chicken Caesar anymore, I've tried it three or four times lately and it's so much worse than it used to be. Onthe other hand a lot of their entrees are still marvelous they're eggplant parm is still great they're manicotti is stillwonderful, and their pizzas are still the best in Pasadena. Not probably the newest style but they've been making pizzas for 40years here and I still have friends who come across all of Los Angeles to get them. So skip the salads eat the pizzas. Read more
