I had the grilled salmon with collard greens and fries, and hubs had a fried platter. They were out of oysters. Everything was... excellent. Staff was friendly. Cooked to order, fresh, and really liked the catfish and collard greens. We missed the Mondayspecial by 8 minutes! But will be back at some point when we want fried fish platter. Read more

I saw this spot while visiting a store near by and decided to give it a shot. I\'ve been twice since then and had a great... experience both times. Food was good, service was top notch and everything was fresh.\n\nI loved the recommendation to try outtheir home made tartar sauce although, I mentioned I do not like tartar sauce. They told me to trust them and try it and I\'mhappy I did. Theirs was so bomb and definitely tasted better than others I\'ve tried. If you plan on going here, grab thatsauce, you won\'t regret it.\n\nThe pecan pie is also a winner. Keep doing y\'all thing, I have already referred you to friendsand family. Read more

My first time there and I\'m not satisfied at ALL ! I got the fish, oyster, and shrimp combo meal. Fish, oyster, and shrimp was... grilled with no seasoning. They had none of the sides I wanted such as greens, or red beans and rice. I ordered two combos andthe other combo was missing the second side of Cole slaw. Hush puppies fried to a crisp. They provided a very tiny piece oflemon to squeeze on fish. They claimed you get 2 fish, 4, oyster, 4 shrimp but did not seem as such. More like 1 piece of fish,4 shrimp, and 3 oyster. Tried calling several times no one ever answered. I am very disappointed. Read more

I was really excited to try this place for the first time after hearing good things about other locations. Sadly, I didn\'t even... get the chance.\n\nI called the number listed on Google to ask a question and place an order for pick up. After several rings, there was a message saying the business had not set up a voice-mail box. I wasn\'t far away so I decided to just go to thelocation and order there.\n\nFirst, the hours on Google are listed as the restaurant closing at 10pm. As i approached the door, the closed sign was facing outward, but there were several guests inside so I proceeded to enter shortly after 7pm. Before beinggreeted, the restaurant associate asked me to wait a moment before taking my order so she could tape up a second closed sign tothe door. The sign on the door says they close at 8pm. At 7:21pm, the associate LOCKED the door...with customersinside!\n\nNext, I asked the associate if there were any accommodations that could be made for allergies. She said they coulduse a separate basket. I wasn\'t sure if she understood so I rephrased my question. She informed me that the fish and shellfishwere fried in the same oil.\n\nThis is not a place for people with fish or shellfish allergies. They use one pair of tongs inthe cold case to pick up the fish AND shellfish. Pasadena has another really great fish market that can accommodate allergies, has a better menu, and is much more affordable. Read more

I was anticipating this place opening but, I was disappointed. The day I went they didn\'t have red beans & rice, or the greens... ? so I ended up just getting fish. The fish was seasoned OK, the young lady that helped us was polite. I\'m going to try thisplace again when they have everything together and hopefully I can give more stars in the future. Read more
