From all the Gaucho Grill, Pasadena was exceptional. Food was tasty, atmosphere was good (lunch), but only problem at the... beginning was service. From start we waited a while to be seated, than to be taken or order, also they forgot a dish. I totallyunderstand since it seems there was only one server, and no runner. I felt bad for him since he was doing expo, bar tending andserving. Besides that small hiccup. Palmito shrimp salad was delicious - light refreshing, healthy and creamy since it havesavocados. Calamari was good it wasn't overcooked but it felt like the oil was slightly old. Lentil soup - very tasty lots offavors, from the mirepoix and chorizo. Bolognese gnocchi- sauce was tasty (fatty, creamy and tangy) only issue didn't not hadenough meat. We also order salmon and mashpotatoes both were tasty as well. Good atmosphere and service was pretty OK. They have some very expensive seafood that's not worth it though ????. Mixed drinks... could have been better...too pricey for the taste. It's cool to go once to experience it, yet would not go back. Avoid thealley next to the restaurant...it stinks. Pretty unpleasant.... Read more

This is our first visit and we are impressed by their excellent service, great decor, and the best Argentinian food in town. We... came here for their dine LA menu. The empanadas were so tasty. I got the entrana and the skirt steak was so juicy and tender. It came with slices provenzal potatoes and they were so good. The New York steak was good as well. For dessert, we got the flanand it was good too. We will definitely return again very soon. Read more

DineLA. Spinach & cheese empanadas/beef: Was Great! I preferred the spinach & cheese. New York steak(medium): wlWas done a... little over but was appreciated! Flavor was there! :) They also had a bell bepper sauce which was refreshing. Dessert: Wouldget the flan over the ice cream. My friend & I did not care for the dulce de leche ice cream scoop. Thehostess that answered the phone was very pleasant to speak with and placed my reservation. When we arrived, the hostess wasvery welcoming. At first glance the restaurant was filled with laughter and fun from other guests. The different arromes fromdishes was exhilarating, I could not wait to be seated another moment. We were escorted to our table closer to the kitchen. Thebooth table was very comfortable and sat 4 guest perfectly. Our waiter came over and explained how the menu works and somestaff favorites. We quickly place couple of appetizer orders while still deciding on the entrée. Gus the restaurant managercame over to introduce himself and gave a quick history of restaurant. By the time we placed our entrée orders, the appetizerscame out. The tables entrée were all brought out same time look absolutely delicious. I ordered the tomahawk steak and nowords can describe how good my steak was cooked except for the best steak I have ever had. No TVs around. Not too busy when we gotthere. We made reservations since there were 8 of us. Service: very good. He came around often and was very friendly andsociable. Food: I tried the following: the empanadas (short rib and al pastor), one ultimate parrillada, one meat parrillada,and an old fashioned.
