First off the wait staff was excellent, they were lovely and attentive. Can?t say the same for your hostesses. We were there... to celebrate my birthday and we had reservations and some of our party was late so we lost our rooftop table. The restaurantwasn?t busy and nobody was using the table. One of our party complained to the manager(who was also very nice) who immediatelymoved us back to our rooftop table. Of course they have 2 hour table limit and while I understand that, we were a party of 8who ordered dinner and drinks and after all the trouble they could have let us stay a little bit longer but they didn?t theywanted us out of there. Needless to say we won?t be back because obviously they don?t want our business. We went down theblock to Mercado restaurant who welcomed us with no problem! Read more

Yummy Americanized Chinese food place. Very affordable, each menu item has a large serving size to share with the table.... Excellent service. Read more

This is proper American Chinese food! ie, nothing like how it's supposed to taste! Salt and pepper pork chops didn't have any... pepper or spice to it at all. Seafood hotpot was more of a stir fry, and tasted identical to the vegetable chow mein. All thedishes were way too salty. Waiter was too busy sitting down and chatting with the only other patron in the restaurant to evenbother checking in until 5-10 minutes after I was done eating. Read more

PF Chang's Pasadena is temporarily closed so my son and I walked to Grandview Palace. We were immediately seated and the service... was fast and attentive! Our food came out hot and delicious! Read more

I work in this area and a co-worker referred me to this Chinese restaurant. I was disappointed with the food I got today. I... ordered beef with garlic sauce. actually it was a mix of the vegetables with very few beef pieces. all the vegies look old likeleft overs, especially the broccolis. they are yellow and soft. it just looked like a mix with the left overs. Went around 8:30pm on a Thursday night. Pretty quiet. Place was nice and staff was friendly. Food came out fairly quickly.... Kung-pao shrimp was pretty spicy, it had a nice kick to it. Lemon chicken came out looking like a fish filet but it was okay.Cans of drinks. Read more

**Update 8/30/21 Our new family favorite. The Wor Wonton soup Is delicious . When your in the mood for soup this is the... order. The flavor of the broth is like no other. Enjoy *** We have been looking for a good old fashioned Chinese restaurantlike the ones we used to eat at when we were growing up. Those of you who grew up in Boyle Heights and East LA might rememberthe New Formosa café before the owners closed up shop in early 2000?s. Then Paul?s Kitchen in Monterey Park. They closedmaybe 10yrs or less ago. I grew up with their delicious dishes. Now in San Gabriel Valley you think I could find at least anaverage Chinese restaurant well we haven?t. Today I went to Google to find a well rated Chinese restaurant. We discoveredGrandview Palace. It?s rated 4.3 Stars of 5. Well let me bend your ear for a bit. The food here is DELICIOUS!! My familyjust loved it. We definitely will be ordering from here again. I usually don?t eat or enjoy the Mongolian beef that my husbandand son love. Let me tell you I couldn?t avoid tasting the dish. It was so good I made sure to serve some on my plate. We gota little bit of everything so that we can gage the taste of everything that I know my family likes. I should say Loves!! TheLo Mein was just as delicious but when it came to the Egg Foo Young OMG, we finally had some that tasted like what we ate beforeat the other restaurants that no longer exist. I have included pics of the dishes but we couldn?t hold off eating the foodbefore all of the pics were taken. Don?t let me forget to tell you that the pork egg rolls were the bomb. I'm so glad for allthose of you who rated this restaurant so well so that I could try it. Thank you Google. Read more

All the dishes I've had have been delicious and well portioned. The best thing about this place is they sell an egg fried rice... which is about the same price as their steamed rice. Seems like most Chinese places I've tried in America sell egg fried rice asif it's an entree and charge at least $8 for it. Read more
