Excellent ice cream shop near Sierra Madre. Large variety of flavors and serving sizes are generous. Parking is on street and in... the mall nearby. Line often forms but wait time is short. Wow, such delicious ice cream and generous scoops. Handel's just opened and I can't wait to come back and try more flavors. Got... the 4 scoop sampler because I couldn't decide. They have 45 different flavors! The line was long today since they just openedthis weekend, but it went quick since there are 6 different windows for ordering. There is also another window on the sidefacing the parking lot. Come enjoy ice cream! Update: Ice cream and service is still great. They have qr codes up so you canlook up the menu on your phone while you are waiting in line. The line is almost always long, but that's a good thing, because it gives you time to think about what you want to get from the... BAZILLION different flavors and containers/cones/bowls. For my 1st time, they set the bar very high. Such amazing customer service. Both of the workers we were helped by were amazing.... I very rarely give my ballet dancing daughter so much sugar but the flavors were so awesome that I got her 2 scoops/flavors. Sheloved them both and savored every lick of ice cream. I also brought home the mango sorbet(vegan) for my wife and it was so goodshe shared it with others. I tasted the lime and the strawberry and they were delicious. I've reached the ice cream promise land. A land flowing with a multitude of different flavored ice creams. No one else gives you... so much quality ice cream at such a great price. My girlfriend and I got the four scoop sampler because we love trying differentflavors. We got the banana cream pie, blueberry cobbler, chocolate covered strawberry, and coffee flavor. All I can say is thatthe ice cream was so smooth and creamy and all the flavors tasted just like advertised. They also have so much per scoop that weonly finished about a quarter of it. The four scoop sampler is probably enough to feed 8 people. It also only costs $6. Serviceis also quick and friendly so don't be intimidated if you see lines because it moves a lot quicker than you think. Read more

Do you like homemade ice cream? For me, ohh big time!! Came to the Pasadena location when I was craving some sweets, and yeah it... didn?t disappoint. We opted for Mud pie (coffee flavored w/ a chocolate ripple and oreo cookies layered in) and Monkey business(rich banana flavor w/ a caramel ripple and brownie), 2 scoops of each on chocolate and peanut cones. My recommendation would betheir monkey business ice cream. Oh my goodness, sooo creamy + generous portions! $5.50 for 2 scoops on a cone (Look at my pics,it feels like 3) Definitely shareable! All in all, quality freshly made ice cream with fair prices. Hands down one of the bestin the area. SO GOOD!!! Note: -Plenty of parking in the lot! -There is a fountain in front of the store, I saw most peoplesitting there. Yummy Ice Cream, the Staff Definitely have the line under control. They are fast at giving you your ice cream. I only waited... about 3 minutes in line and about 2 minutes at the cashier window to pay and receive my ice cream. Thats faster then any otherplaces I have gone to. Really good ice cream and more! The place is super cute and family-style with space outside to eat next to a fountain. Loads of... flavors.. perhaps too many. Like how many chocolate-base flavors can you get? The ice cream was a tad bit on the too cold sideas if just came out of deep freezer. It doesn?t rank up to Salt and Straw. Read more
