This place is really delightful. Great vibe as soon as I walked in? a regular was chatting with the owner, who?s a really... friendly and welcoming guy. He took my order right away and we had a nice conversation while I waited for the food to come out(shawarma nachos with chicken). Food was delicious with incredibly generous portions, easily enough for another full meal fromthe leftovers. Flavor was really good, balanced but still unique? felt like a handcrafted meal as opposed to a lot of fastMediterranean food that is fine but all tastes more or less the same. They also have a wide array of diet sodas outside of theusual brands (think Diet Sunkist and Diet A&W Cream Soda) so if you?re into those like I am you?ll probably be very happy withthe selection! Hummus Labs offers the best Lebanese cuisine food around!! My friends and family all love the food and the owner, Joseph is a... great guy! Check their place out and support a local business that recently opened during the beginning of the pandemic. I alsolove their kebabs, which are super tender and pairs well with the rice and hummus. Usually I don't have too many things to sayabout rice, but Joseph and his team make it super fluffy and tasty, and include the perfect amount of butter. Their hummus andpita chips are amazing, and there are a couple of great hummus flavors to try. My favorite flavor of hummus that they offer isthe tomato habanero, which adds a kick to the already flavorful pita chips. Softest meat I've ever had. I looooved the chicken kebab. I think the price is expensive for what I can get elsewhere but I... would come back just for the chicken kebab. Hummus was okay. I was super excited to try this from the pics which looked amazing. Indeed they put in a lot of effort in presentation. However... I was extremely disappointed to find out that their platters are something like 90% rice dressed in some meat. You can see myposted pictures of the remaining rice (taken after I?ve eaten a bunch of it). The meat quality and taste were not bad but itjust feels like cheating if a restaurant does that. Read more
Hummus Labs opened during the pandemic in 2020 when the order to close down occured. It was a rough start for this business, as... with other business who started around the same time. However, the food is excellent and the owner, Joseph, is very helpfulwhen trying to select from his menu. Everything on his menu is absolutely delicious; from his kebob platters to his hummusflavors to his shawerma nachos. He has a variety of hummus that is made there at his 'lab' (store). I've enjoyed every singleone, but my favorites are the red beet dill, roasted tomato and habanero, cumin lime, and cilantro jalapeño. Let's not forgetthe addicting garlic paste he makes. It pairs well with everything on his menu, including his house made pita chips. Thosepita chips are just as addicting and you keep coming back for more. For my family of 5, we usually order the kebob combo andsometimes add the salmon platter with it. It's enough to feed the 5 of us, but perhaps those with bigger appetites will need toorder more. His ultimate platter is also a hit if you'd like to try a little bit of everything. The claim is it's made fortwo, buy I've shared it with my 3 teenage daughters. From the amazing variety tasty hummus to the kebabs, everything will make you so satisfied that you will die from how good Joes... food is. My favorites got to be: Filet mignon kebab (cooked to a perfect tender medium, but can make it well done if youwant). I got the shawarma nachos beef and chicken. It was yummy, I didn't know the chips would be Pita Chips, so that was a great... surprise. ???? on top is garlic hummus and it was amazing. Definitely recommend coming here, I liked the beef more. It was moresweet than salty though. But I guess that's how shawarma should be ? I never had it before this, but it was great.
