This newly remodeled and reopened Intelligentsia in old town Pasadena looks brighter and more spacious than its past time though... it retains the brick wall and even the furniture. Definitely dig the new look. One other thing that stands out is that now thisstore doesn't have an espresso machine, and uses instead Intelligentsia's instant spro. Interesting for sure. 5 stars for vibe and chic, futuristic interior 2 stars for my oat milk vanilla latte and iced americano My latte had almost no... vanilla flavor, not as sweet as I expected and it was not hot enough. Still it was good coffee with good quality oat milk andespresso. It leaves rich aroma and flavor when I drink it. I wish they provide cup sleeves at the bar where they put lids andsuch - the coffee was not hot but the cup was hot to touch. And I am used to Starbucks so I wish they put menu name on the cupsso that I can know which one is which. I had to ask barista and she was busy so I felt like I was bothering her. Also I goticed americano. The aroma and taste was not flavorful, more like thin and flat taste. I still give them 5 stars because staffsare friendly and I would like to hangout in the place, the vibe is nice. Tables and floor are clean. Read more

Nice little cafe with a great atmosphere and nice vibe for studying or having a chat. Nice selection of drinks and pastries.... Could do better with more food selections though and more no sugar options. Read more

I loved this place and they ruined it. I went here daily and I loved their coffee. I was so excited for it to reopen that I... would constantly check their IG to see what was happening. Then it opened, and a part of me died. The place is no longer warmand inviting, but rather it resembles a hospital lobby posturing at being with the trends. The espresso has lost all its life,and leaves you feeling empty and unfulfilled. Plus, it taste bad. The staff was still relatively friendly though. This place isalso surrounded by better options, at least better than this new version. This place deserved better. Read more

very happy that this location reopened :) the interior looks amazing and very spacious. I got a regular latte with black cat... espresso and everything about this simple latte was beautiful: the foam, the espresso, the temperature. definitely my newfavorite place, and I've been dying to find a space to do some work or to read or to write.
