This is a very busy Kaiba location. We did not have a reservation and were lucky enough to snag the last empty table. The... Tonkotsu ramen was rich and flavorful. The rolls and sashimi combo were fresh but the fish was sliced very thinly compared toother places. The staff was attentive and the service was effortless. Read more

I had the tonkatsu ramen and it was delicious. The bowl they bring it in is massive and it's earthenware so your ramen stay hot... for a while. I also had the shrimp tempura roll but it looked so good I forgot to grab a picture until I was halfway through it???? It tasted just as good as it looked if not better. The wait staff was real friendly and checked in on me frequently,10/10 customer service. TL:DR One of the better places I've eaten at in awhile. I will be coming back the next time I'm intown. The appetizer called monkey brain was really delicious and came in a great portion. The sushi was good and very fulfilling.... Service was great. Prices were a little bit on the high side but reasonable. They offered free iced tea or ice cream once youchecked in on app. Read more

Service: Excellent and fast Setting: Cleaning and pleasant view. Price: Fair Fist time at this place. Came by because of the 4.6... star. I thought the food could be better. The Ramen is definitely good. Great flavor, noodle is good, the onion added extraflavor. The chasui is a little dry and hard. We ordered a dragon roll. It only ok, had better is many other places. The eel is abit small, maybe because of inflation, need to cut the weight down a bit. I didn't like the rice texture. Not a soft rice. Notenough of the sweet sauce. Dragon roll does not require soy sauce and wasabi, but I have to use some because of not enough ofthe sweet sauce. Mixed Tempora, a bit small for the tray. Also, could use a little more flavor in the flowers that is used tofried the Tempora. Come for the ramen Read more

Love this sushi spot. Super clean, super fast service, and really attentive staff. Gets packed very quickly after 6pm on... weekends, so plan ahead. Amazing quality, solid rolls and variety (not too much, but just enough). Definitely a local favorite.I swear this place has the best salmon sashimi hands down. Its not gamey or chewy, it's nice and buttery soft - every time Iorder it. They also have drink specials all day, every day... So you are set to drink up and have fun (sake bombs anyone?)While eating amazing quality fish. Honestly, it's all about the fish quality for me, so I won't even talk about the rolls, butthey're solid as well. Read more

Kaiba is a revelation! Really good quality ramen and sushi for relatively low prices. I believe that Kaiba has the power to... reunite a divided household. My wife has loved sushi since college and I just haven't been able to develop a taste for it.After years of not being able to enjoy a good sushi restaurant together we finally found the answer. Kaiba! We recently had ourfirst dining experience at Kaiba. Coincidentally, we were having dinner with my wife's best friend from college and the friend'stwin sister who had flown in from Seattle for the weekend. A party of four works great for sharing multiple sushi rolls, soupsand sides. We arrived after 7pm on a Sunday evening and the place was packed with a wait. The staff were great! The hostoffered to seat us after just a couple of minutes if someone didn't show up on time for their reservation. Thanks a lot Rachelfor not showing up, we really enjoyed your reservation. All the staff we interacted with were energetic, attentive andefficient. I recommend that you make a reservation for yourself when you plan to visit Kaiba. We can't all count on Rachel tomake a reservation for us without knowing it. I experienced true "food joy" eating my Tonkatsu Ramen as my wife and her friendsfeasted on a variety of their favorite sushi rolls and sides. I recommend the $2 draft beer and the $1 warm sake. Great dealsfor what you get. The house once divided over sushi has now been united by Kaiba Japanese Restaurant. Fun Facts: -There arethree Kaiba locations in Southern California -The menu is accessible via QR code scan with your phone. -They don't appear tohave a website but they do have business page on Facebook. -If you are not comfortable with chopsticks you can ask for a forkand they will bring you a metal one on a napkin. -Plenty of free parking in the lot behind the restaurant. So, do yourself afavor and give this terrific Asian Fusion Restaurant a try soon. Read more
