I feel so bad for the ONE server this place has. She's older so moves slower and has no one to help her. No other server, no... busses, no other staff except one guy in the kitchen. I'm sure she's just as stressed out about the place getting busy, but thisis no excuse for customers to have such a poor experience. Lots of waiting and wondering when I'll be serviced. Probably the worst sushi place in Pasadena. Rolls are tasteless, 4 times more rice than what you expect, feels like you are... eating a rice sandwich not a roll. The atmosphere of this restaurant makes me feel like I had come to a portal to the underworld or one of the dojos for ghost... hunters in a Japanese manga. The dark restaurant was filled with some very different styles of customers. The only peopleworking in the restaurant were a blonde waitress. The waitress talks like she's slowed down 1.5 times, and her friendly butuncaring approach to you is intriguing. She will take 20 minutes to prepare your water and tell you in a friendly manner thatthe food will take another 20 minutes but actually waits almost 40 minutes. The food wasn't good either.
