My favorite restaurant in Pasadena! We order regularly from them. Their paneer pakoras are to die for, same for their shahi... paneer, and I deeply love their rice! Also, if you don?t like spicy food but you love Indian food, you can ask them to make itvery mild and it won?t bother you! Read more

Came here for the weekend buffet and it was quite frankly the worst indian food I've had in a decade across 4 countries.... Couldn't even finish one plate cuz everything was gross. The curries were all watered down to the point that it was nearlytasteless. I was excited to try the butter chicken, but such a disappointment. Even then chickpea curry was tasteless. And thetandoori chicken somehow tasted watery, which i didn't even think was possible. The veggie pakora was soggy, so i didn't put iton my plate. Only thing i found passable was the hot chai tea. No one asked how the food was, just brought the bill over. For$22, the selection was pitiful, the food awful, and within 30 minutes of eating there, i now have food poisoning and stomachcramps. 1 star for the friendly service Read more

Food was delicious. The chicken masala curry is to die for. Servers were very attentive. They have street parking and also a... small parking lot in the back. Went on a Sunday night and it was not busy at all. Highly recommend. Read more

Their food was so good! Garlic Naan was so garlicky and crispy with abundant cilantro. Samosa was good and even the dough was... seasoned well (personally the potato filling could?ve had even more spices, but still tasted good). Chicken Tikka Masala hadlots of chicken and the portion was pretty big. It wasn?t overly creamy or rich like in some other places, and it was reallyflavorful. The Tandoori Eggplant was also pretty big in portion and tasted so good with mashed eggplant texture. The pricing wasa bit higher than what I?m used to, but the portions seemed to make up for it (except for the Naan). The service was good andthe food came out reasonably fast (got there before 6pm). There?re huge windows facing the mountains, so it feels open and nicefor people watching :) The women?s bathroom was clean but the door was so stiff and kept getting stuck that it only left anarrow space to get in and out. Just one reservation for going back to this place was, the cost didn?t add up. The breakdowninvoice was hand-written and hard to read, so I looked up the price on their website after we left. We were charged $2.11 morethan what I saw on their website including taxes. I tried ?ordering online? just to see the total cost, and still showed thesame amount of discrepancy. Not sure if this was like a Covid-19 service charge? If it was, I get it but it should?ve beendisclosed. The handwritten breakdown had four items and we didn?t see any extra item/charge on it. All in all, the food was sosatisfying, but the lack of price transparency leaves bitter taste in my mouth. May be just double check the breakdown beforeyou pay. Read more

Great place for good Indian food. Cozy atmosphere with good service. We had New Dehli salad with Naan to begin with. Then had... chicken curry and mixed Tandoori plate with chicken, lamb, n shrimp. Foos was very tasty and well prepared. They have a greatlunch buffet Mon thru Fri. Go check them out. They have been at the same location for over 25 years. Read more

I never had Indian food before coming to the lunch here. I was greeted by a fresh looking buffet, which was exciting. Mushroom... masala, basmati rice, cucumber & tomato salad, potatoes, brocolli and at least 6 other meat/veg options. Food was fresh andtasted great. I will definitely go back for lunch. Can't beat that price for a lunch buffet. Especially in Pasadena! Attentiveservice and a clean, nicely decorated interior. Side Note: Get the garlic pita bread! Read more
