A good local spot for sushi and rolls. Not the best I've had but still good. The hot sake and pitchers of Sapporo are a great... deal when dining there. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating available to fit your mood. I recommend trying this place out inPasadena. Instead of SushiStop, go to Oji Sushi. Read more
DO NOT order from this place! I called to place an order because I wanted to pay with cash. They I said I couldn?t do that o had... to order online. So I placed a large order, received the notifications that my order was received and then ready. My husbandwent to pick up the order and they said they never received it. He showed the of the receipts and emails we received. They notonce offered to help us out, they were rude and said we have to handle the refund on our own! We loved the Oji special, surf and turf and rainbow rolls. The sashimi omakase was very fresh. My favorites were the soft shell... crab appetizer and octopus sunomono. The yakisoba is ok at best. Service was fast and efficient. Read more

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - Chirashi Bowl, Scallop Roll, and Yellowtail Roll. The rolls were simple but the seafood were all really... fresh. The chirashi bowl was our favorite since the sashimi were generous slices, the rice was nicely cooked and seasoned, andthe seasoning was complimentary without being overwhelming. Ambience: 5/5 - very clean with neat and more modern decorations.Still very cozy in a way with the dimmer lights without it being too dark Service: 5/5 - server was more reserved but stillattentive.
