Was here for late dinner in Jan 2020, was in Pasadena for 1 night and picked this shop out of 3 in the area - was not... disappointed. I had the winter special, with extra thick noodles, fresh garlic and thick pork - the broth is basically the sameas their jun special, which is light and flavorful and I really like it. I didn't like the thick noodles and wouldn't try itagain but everything else was good. The extra thick pork looks daunting relative to chasu pieces but it was really good, not asheavy as I had feared. Finished off with the matcha brownie dessert. Read more

It's not bad, but it just falls a bit short in a lot of areas. Their noodles for example are a touch over cooked. I will say... that their kaedama is pretty generous including some extra topping. Their signature roll isn't bad either. Read more

Excellent food. We got the koku tonkotsu ramen with the extra flavored egg and the broth was so flavorful and rich. It seems... like they boil their pork broth for many hours. Hints of garlic, spice, green onions, mushrooms. Most of their noodles are thinwhich I love. We also got the gyoza which are dumplings. They were juicy and crispy at the same time. The insides are wellseasoned and cooked just the right way. The service was good. The food came out fast. Parking is available in one of manyPasadena's public parking lots. They also offer alcohol here. If that is your taste! A+ from me. Would highly recommend! Read more

From Houston, I can get equivalent or cheaper ramen at similar quality. But for near LA, the price and service are excellent.... Stopped in on a recommendation and waited 30 minutes in a line on a Friday night - not sure if I'd do it again, but the servicewas fantastic (even gave us a to go cup for our leftover green tea). Came in for ramen with classmates after a Museum trip. I got the Jun Tonkotsu and it was delicious! The broth is so flavorful... and rich and the pork so tender and fatty. Loved the mushrooms in it; I recommend you sprinkle a good bit of sesame seeds in itand a little vinegar, makes the broth even more yummy. The service was excellent! The staff were very nice and made sure wewere all set. Definitely one of the best ramen bowls I've had, I cleared the entire thing. ? Coming back for sure! Read more

Place was very packed during lunch and took a bit for three people to find seating. The service was excellent! The food came out... fast and piping hot. I definitely recommend this place if you want fast ramen and want alot of toppings! Don't forget theappetizers though! The appetizers were pretty good. Read more

Great ramen, and great service. Two ramen noodle types (egg based, and rice based). Rice based seemed to be the table?s top... pick. There can be a long line outside, but usually the line moves quickly. We got the light and spicy(miso base) ramens. Theywere delicious. Tasty mushrooms, and awesome pork. We also grabbed the gyoza. They were crispy and delicious; we loved the flatpan crisp finish. Highly recommend. Best parking (90 min free) is south of Colorado off Green. Enjoy! Read more
