If you haven?t had Roscoe?s, you haven?t had Chicken & Waffles. This is a beacon of the famous dish; a light in a dark world of... food experiences; a true, delicious, deeply satisfying meal that I will return to many times to devour. My husband had nevertried Chicken and Waffles, and he got the gravy-smothered #2 and I?ve never seen him devour food like that. He became adifferent person before my very eyes and when it was over, he was a changed man, culinarily satisfied and extraordinarilycontent with life. In this harsh existence we live in, it?s not just a meal when we go somewhere to eat, it?s a desperateattempt to feel something, taste something, believe in something despite the circumstances. It?s my first time in this soul restaurant specializing in fried chicken. The chicken is crispy and well seasoned outside and... moist inside. The waffle is soft and just a tad chewy. Been coming here since I was a kid in the 90s. Good food and service. Can get crowded on the weekends and parking is limited.... This last time the food did take about 30 minutes to come to our table and there was only like 3 other occupied tables but atleast the food is consistently good here. Read more

The food was very delicious. I also enjoyed the coffee.Especially the chicken and especially the waffles. I'm not guilty, to say that I absolutely love waffles.
