This place has fun food selection with creative renditions of your favorite Mexican foods. The name Desvelados has a whimsical... name to go along with the target clientele which are people who like to stay up late and rally. So it's no surprise that thefood selection on the menu is something you might want to cure your hangover or to indulge your appetite before a night ofpartying. The interior decor is amusing, and they have an upbeat music selection always on. I highly recommend theirMichelada!!! That drink is in a huge mug and loaded with tasty garnishes. The only drawback is having to go to the counter toorder and pay for your items. At first it's fine, but it you plan on having an extra drink or two, then going back to thecounter every time eventually becomes a drag. Came here for my birthday and besides the food, everything else was a little dissapointing. First of all prices are pretty high... for what you get. I recommend the nachos or if you're not feeling cheesy get the sopés they are the most bang for buckitem. Service was kind of slow and we decided to sit outside because indoor seating is looking tight. The drinks were strongand didn't really taste good considering it's appearance and descriptions on the menu. They do have parking behind thebuilding. This place takes Mexican food to a whole new level. High level tacos not found anywhere else. Absolutely delicious, don?t forget... the ?out of this world mango margarita?, unbelievably refreshing and delicious. Yes, the food is as delicious as the menu shows.Can?t wait to come back and bring my family and friends ????. Cool place, good vibe, fun loud music. Service was very good no complaints at all. Dined at the restaurant on a Monday evening.... They were fairly busy. Wine based margaritas were decent. Food arrived about 20-25 minutes after ordering. I had street tacos;asada carnitas and pastor. Corn tortilla was fantastic. The asada was not very good. I don?t think it was actually ranchera.Carnitas was not crispy at all. And the pastor had no flavor. The menu is vast and perhaps I would have been better off orderinga specialty item. Read more

Place is nicely put and decorated. Kept clean for the most part. Seating is tight and limited. Service is beyond scattered! The... inside can get loud, so if you?re looking for a place to sit and converse, this ain?t it. ???? Parking: available in theback/adjacent structure and street. Price is okay. I love the variety on the menu. I love hot Cheetos and when they incorporated those into there fries platter with all the good... stuff it was off the charts. I'll start by saying for a Sunday night this place clearly was understaffed. We ordered and we're told we would have to wait at... least 45 minutes which is understanding for a new place. We had a party of 5 and the food began coming out at the 45 minutesthey said. I ordered the West Coast Flautas which took an hour for me to receive. I noticed the Flauta on one end looked likesomeone had bit into it. I mentioned it to one of the staff and she assured me that they had just came out and nobody touchedthem. After trying it I also tasted the Asada meat was burnt to a crisp. One of the staff offered to make me a new order. I lether know since by then my party was all done eating I couldn't wait another 45 minutes for my meal. But I would be willing toaccept any other dish that could be made fast and she assured me that she would have something to me within 10 minutes. Inoticed after 5 minutes the employee left for the day. I waited 15 minutes and nothing was brought to me. Based on what I sawthe dishes are pladed nicely. I like how people don't understand that it's takes a moment for a brand new restaurant, with new staff in a new location to get... their rythym down. Pump the brakes and find a hobby. Food was awesome! Service was kind and fast, they even had this galsinging her heart out. As per usual, don't listen to the babies in the reviews. Try it for yourself. And if you've lived in LAfor this long and still don't understand that Everywhere is busy, maybe try a slower time of day ???? Read more
