I was excited to see the new look of the remodeled El Toritos so, I decided to treat my mother on this particular day. I love... the new look, the food was great and the server we had was very nice. Unfortunately I had the hallway/ hostess station view oflaundry coming in for most my meal. Watching large laundry bags in a big black bin in the entry way was not pleasant. Good food but annoying service. They are not usually this bad, but this time I went there with my family on taco Tuesday and... there were only two guys covering the entire floor where the bar is at. And the back of the corner where my family sat was hotand the AC was broken. First server put us in the wrong place for Taco Tuesday thing saying that Taco Tuesday can be served inany table. Later we were told that this guy is a newbie. So we had to change our seats to where the bar is. A server turned onthe fan for us but it was giant and too strong wind coming out so we had to turn that off to eat our food. Our server (old guy)was very friendly and attentive but he just had too many customers to serve. Tacos were great and I like their salsa and chipsand corns. I wish they serve unlimited black bean as well as pinto beans. My kids had some hard time that I was not verycomfortable but for the price I got good meals. Read more
Went to this Pasadena, El Torito's due to their e mails, promoting $8 Saturday Breakfast. I had the Carne Asada & Eggs, my Wife... had the Chilaqilles. Both plates were Great and decent portions. Will return to try other plates. Read more
My wife and I have been coming to El Torito for couple of years and enjoying their good Mexican/fusion cuisine. Everything... they make is fresh from scratch and made to order like their Margarita drinks amazing good thev one thing we like are thedessert really good. Read more
El Torito has mostly excellent food. The chips and salsa they bring to the table before you order are some of the best you will... ever have. The salsa is rich in garlic, tomatoes and chili. The sauces they use in their enchiladas and other entries are alsoflavorful. Their fajitas are sort of hit and miss. Sometimes the chicken breast is too dry and at others, the beef is notproperly marinated though the grilled onions and green peppers are consistently good. Their ice cream cake is a real treat. Very loud and busy place. Not cozy at all with plain walls and heavy woodwork. Lack of texture and fabrics makes it very loud. ... Hard to have a conversation. Food is good but a bit too greasy. Burger is great and have a lots of flavors. Fajita for 2 is agreat deal but I recommend you to skip the steak on the heated cast iron, it's very dry and tough. Salsa that comes to thetable is very good and have a perfectly level of heat. Service is great! Reception is very messy with cleaning supplies andtrash, but staff is welcoming and nice. Read more
Love this place , went with some friends from Guatemala and they love it, food is so delicious, and the waiter Randy, he is so... amazing, so attentive, he was always friendly and asking if we need anything, he really took care of us, definitely going backfor the food, and I will ask for Randy to be my waiter again. It feels so good and important when they treat you like royalty,that’s how he make us feel. Read more
I love this location, big, clean and good customer service. The brunch w unlimited mimosas is amazing. The food selection is... good. The bloody Mary and margarita are only $5. Parking easy to find. Read more
