First time trying this place today, the girl at the cash register looked dissapointed that I walked into the restaurant. She... seemed like she really didn't want to be there. The food took longer than I would've hoped. When I got my order I asked forextra ketchup and she said no! The chicken tasted bad but fries were good. This place is terrible. The slaw is devoid of any actual seasoning and essentially just mayo. The chicken for the tenders is... chewy/leathery. The breading batter bland and doesn?t actually stick the the chicken. Throw in the price?at $20 for a threepiece,fries and a drink and you are looking at terrible price performance. This is Hands Down THE BEST Chicken of these types of Hot Chicken Chains that I have ever tried. I went with the No. 1 Combo... which was their Spicy Chicken Sandwich with Fries + Drink. It was very Delicious and Tasty and with each bite, left me wantingmore and more. Their Owner was very nice and came over to conversate which was very inviting. Down side is that there aren'tmany tables but, they're Open Late (until 2am) and the place is VERY Clean which is always a PLUS in my book. Prices arecompetitive with their rivals and decent. A pretty penny for me but, it was well worth it IMHO. I'm definitely telling myfriends and am definitely coming back to try more on their menu. This is a nice place for Hot Chicken in Pasadena. I got the Kluckin Combo #1 at "Hot" spice level $13.49 and it tasted good. ... The sandwich wasn't too spicy so definitely going for fire next time and the fries were perfectly crispy. The young man Gregwho served me was fantastic. They're open until 2am which is a plus. Pretty good! Far from the best spicy chicken place in the area but it had reasonable prices and quick service. The restaurant... was clean and the employees were friendly/helpful. The sandwich was good. I got hot spice level and it was spicy without beingover the top. I'd get the same level next time. The coleslaw was fine and was good after the spicy sandwich but probablywouldn't get it again. The mac and cheese was creamy and good. I'll go back and try the fried pickles and fries next time. I hope owner can see this . The young tall kid cashier is so rude and unprofessional. He can?t even say hello and welcome. He is... representing your brand for the business. And his attitude of work is awful. He either hiding at the back playing phones orwatching TV. All he can say is not ready ????. Just let you know , owner , your not ready employee is ready to ruin yourbusiness and your brand. I even saw the kitchen guy came out hand over orders to the customer at the midnight. And he waschilling at inside. If he can?t do his simple job , you better find someone can. There are plenty of people can do his job andmuch better for the long term good business.
