This is a great two story location! The restaurants are on the second floor as well as a wine tasting bar, plenty of food... options if you just want to pick up something and go, and I especially enjoy that this is also an Amazon drop off spot so I cando a couple of errands in addition to food shopping. Parking is usually fine and I usually get a spot on the first level andthere are a couple of electric car chargers for those who have EVs. Read more
This store on South Arroyo Parkway in Pasadena is the largest Whole Foods west of the Mississippi River but far less chill than... the one in Hastings Ranch a couple miles east of here and especially uptight compared to the Whole Foods in Chicago like thestore in Ravenswood near Wrigley Field where the Cubs play baseball. The problem with shopping at the South Arroyo location isthe ghetto general manager Carlos who honest-to-god is the brother of the old gangsta that manages the Pavilions grocery storein the Shoppes On Lake Avenue in Pasadena but I still eat here because I can always find a curry with lemon rice in the hot barwhich finally opened here again after two years of paranoia about a deadly micro-organism that is now nowhere to be found. The customer service is horrible. I seem to ask the lead front-end manager if there were any whole foods 365 Waters in the back... she had complete resistance to even answer the question. So I just stood there and watched her strugg her shoulders like herarms were full of them molasses. It's funny even when wearing a mask the aura of people transcends they're disconnect betweencustomer service and doing a good job. Covid couldn't get through that mass but her attitude see through. So I went upstairs tosee if there was any whole foods 365 Waters to my dismay there was not the shelves were empty. I came back downstairs to askanother employee and he is well was very resistant to helping me retrieve boxes of 365 Waters in the back. I asked him does thefront manager department in the back manager department are they having some communication issues? He stated no I stated that Ithink you're completely wrong cuz you're the second person and I spoke with that is reluctant to go to the back and retrievewater. #amazon #wholefoods . I won't be going back to this whole foods I actually went down the street to their competitortrader Joe's and filled the back of my car with as much as water as it could take thank you trader Joe's whole foods in Pasadenawas not good to me or my family. Super good as always. Great products and too quality. Even their plants are mostly really good and at relatively good prices.... However in general it?s quite expensive ao unfortunately not a place I would recommend for the weekly grocery shopping. Read more
