Pictured is the Sycamore melt, a pastrami sandwich. The flavor was great, but the bread was so soggy I couldn't hold it in my... hands because it fell apart immediately when I went to pick it up, and thus this glorious sandwich was eaten with a fork andknife. The sandwich, small fries, and drink together were satisfying, but probably able to be split by two people because thefood is so heavy. I would be interested in going back to try their breakfast. I think this is the first time trying "The Original Tops" restaurant. It is a very good place for the whole family. They have a... Drive-through and many customers use this convenient option. I dined outside and the weather was very comfortable. They are aextremely friendly and busy restaurant. The location is on route 66 which is a historical street. Great foods. Listen to me!!!!! The burgers are 1/4 lb. The fries come in a box. An order of large onion rings can feed 4 adults. I have never... finished a meal here unless I bought 1 taco. The place is okay, but definitely nothing to write home about. The fries portion is definitely amazing, so that's great.... Everything is pretty expensive regarding the product, but I haven't tried everything so maybe it is worth the price. Nocomplaints from me. There are only two bathrooms and they are constantly busy. This place has been around since 1952. Thats awesome and you can tell that there are a lot of regulars here. Came on a Tuesday... at 2 pm and still busy. The drive thru line was going. I chose to dine in. Friendly staff. Their menu is pretty extensive. WhenI ordered there was no one else in line for a couple minutes so I asked a couple questions. Got the classic Tops which was acheeseburger plus pastrami. Delicious! Well made and everything was fresh and tasty. Will be back! Read more
Stopped here for dinner after a nice walk at the Arboretum. First time here so I had to try the pastrami sandwich. It was good.... My wife had the cheese burger and daughter had some hard shell tacos. We all agreed it?s the quality of the ingredients thatmake this place pretty good.
