Best drinks in Pasadena. Covid friendly. Pick up your canned cocktail (taken from tap and bottled in front of you) and run it... home. Seriously talented cocktail designer. Has to be the best I've had since moving to California six years ago. (I hearthey're also working on outdoor space for August) My rec: Strawberry Buck. Has a bite but so tasty. Read more

I've been wanting to try this place. So glad I did! I got excited upon seeing beignets and gumbo on the menu. This place... reminds me of a couple of the bars in New Orleans. Now I want to plan my next New Orleans trip. Read more

Would've been 5-star except for bottomless mimosas said they were served until 3pm, but they do last call at 2:30pm. WTH? They... need to change the time on the menu. We had the fried chicken and Avocado Bruchetta - excellent and would definitely return forboth. Home.ade biscuits come with chicken and they are delicious! I ordered a single mimosa - tasty, except served in amargarita glass...yes, I like proper stemware. Waiter was attentive and food was great! Would go earlier for brunch and be earlyfor mimosa's! Incredible food. Wow, the apple pie, brie burger is mindblowing. The fried chicken sandwich was really good too. Ambience, music... and service quality incredible too. They constantly keep feeling your water and they are very knowledgeable and detailed whendescribing the food. Great experience and I would come back. It is somewhat pricey though. Read more

Darkly wood panelled place, dine in the pseudo "old" style. Overstuffed stools, a couch or two and a secondary bar level stooped... area make for abundant seating. Service was uneven, as it took the staff over 10 minutes to notice that we were there (not manyof them were out) but once we were noticed, a number of servers and associated workers appeared, as if they were all occupiedelsewhere and just got let out; it was odd. The service, once the servers were "out", was prompt and professional. Drinks arenot cheap but I had the feeling they are trying to represent themselves as an "established" place but the feel was more if an"upscaley" place; we're popular and you're fortunate to be eating our fine food. The food was quite good. The drinks were quitetasty (they know what they're doing) but I wouldn't go there for drinks (too little for what is charged) unless I pulled in 100kyearly, imho. 4.5 STARS Read more

Super chill atmosphere. Lots of space to sit or even lounge in couches. I can't speak on behalf of the food, but the drinks are... absolutely incredible! They definitely have their own version of cocktails that I've never had before. I was originally goingto give four stars but on the last drink the bartender actually came over to our table and lit it on fire and did an entireshow, it was so awesome! It was called the forbidden. He said he doesn't always do it tableside, so don't expect it, but when hehas time he does. We would recommend this. We will be back for happy hour. Read more
