Nice bowling alley in Pasadena. The prices are very expensive (they were charging almost $6 per shoe rental which costs more... then each game). Only way we were able to afford coming was by snagging a great Groupon deal which bundled 4 players for 2 hoursand included shoe rentals. Some of their lanes weren?t functioning, and we couldn?t use a full 2 hours because they shut downthe lanes at 5pm to prepare for bowling league that started at 6. I will say that they had a great selection of kids bowlingballs (a few in the area don?t) so all the kids were able to find balls they could hold along with the right finger sizing. Theemployee working was nice and patient with switching out shoe sizes. Con, there is no real separation between lanes to sitdown. There are just tables and chairs so other Lane parties cross over into your area. Read more
We went on Sunday with the Grandkids and had a great time bowling. They have changed some things since the last time we went... here a few years ago. No more going up and down the entire bowling alley looking for the right ball. All of the bowling ballsare right as you walk in the door. They are neatly organized, all lined up on open racks. It is such a nice time saver. They nolonger have any carpet. It is all the same level flooring, so no more tripping when you get to the bowling lanes. The peopleworking here were all polite and helpful. We had a delicious unburnt pizza and some tasty drinks. I recommend the WatermelonSplash Guzzler and the grandkids liked the Strawberry Fusion Guzzler. I Love all of the new features! We will definitely becoming back here. The only thing that I would change is the pictures above the lanes, they are a little odd. lol Read more
What a fun day we had. I believe the gentleman?s name that helped us was Tyrone but my son thought he heard tyrell. Needless to... say, he did an amazing job. The place was packed and he kept cool under pressure. I work in the food industry and know thatpeople these days can break the best of us. Pretty clean, nice screens and touch pads to enter info. Staff was helpful and friendly. Other people we played around were fun... too. I've played at places that are nice and more modern, but for the price, it was still comfortable. I do want to come back totry the famous chicken sandwich. Read more
Bowling alley lane was broke for like 25min & manager did not come back & tell us nothing after Multiple times telling him lane... is not working properly we were forced to wait til a lane comes open & than told to still be finished by 3pm & we were the 1stto be in alley at 12. Terrible service here if it wasn't for my lg I would REFUSE TO BE HERE worst alley in MD & I bowl atvarious alleys every Sunday. Could have atleast took a game off something smh. Read more
Service was bad. The staff there was being prejudice towards us I really believe because we were black. My family wanted to... have a family bowling night. I patiently waited 10mins. While three workers at a full conversation. Then I interrupted them andask it one of them could help me. The lady working rolled her eyes at me. After my family of 14 rented out three lanes the younglady with the blonde hair tried to overcharge us and when we told her she got smart with us. I will never come here again. What a fantastic experience we had at Rock n Bowl! What a fun family night!!! I wasn?t sure what to expect, but the staff here... was amazing! They were so busy and yet so patient and helpful at the front desk and the guys at the food court were so supernice and even brought us over our food. Then a lane next to us was having technical issues and the kid working there couldn?thave been more helpful and kind to them as well. All the people around us bowling were having a blast, and it was just a reallypleasant environment even to take a younger family out too. So fun and can?t wait to do it again. I just really wanna give ashout out to how impressed I was with they staff though with how young they all were and how great a job they did. Read more
