I gotta say, I never leave reviews for locations but this spot never misses when it comes to the food. The lomo saltado is... always on spot, hot & fresh, ready to eat. I probably would have never tried this place, but my wife brought home some of their food recently and it was delicious! I've... been trying to persuade her to go there for lunch ever since. Today we got a barbecue chicken salad and a buffalo chicken wrapwith fries. I got to try her salad and it was very good. I loved my chicken wrap and the fries were just right. I'm not surewhether it's obvious from the photos, but place is immaculately clean - absolutely spotless! There are a few small tables insideand a few tables outside as well. Tired Peruvian food for the first time when visiting CA and loved it so I decided to find a local spot close to home that had... good reviews. El Pollo Cool had the best tasting chicken! It?s charbroiled and hands down better than Boston market?s rotisseriechicken. Even their white meat was tender, juicy & flavorful! We also tried their steak (carne asada) which was good with thegreen sauce but I prefer their chicken. You get green (spicy) & yellow (not spicy) sauce with your meals. Their cilantro ricewas really yummy and much better than chipotle?s. My son said their fresh vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, & carrots) wereflavorful and liked it. I thought their green beans, corn, & plantains were good but their fried rice was a little bland. I willdefinitely be back to get their chicken again and try more dishes. I think I might try their Grilled chicken pesto ciabattasandwich next. Update: tried their chicken pesto ciabatta. So yummy I couldn?t leave a single bite. I absolutely love this little restaurant. We ordered the LOCO ESPECIAL which is a whole chicken served with your choice of three... sides and 2 liter bottle of soda which we passed on the soda. The three sides we got were plantain, black beans, pico de gallo.We also got a side of guacamole. The marinated charbroiled chicken was absolutely delicious very tender juicy but not greasy.Melts in your mouth. My favorite sides were the guacamole and the pico de gallo which were both delicious.
