Waited over an hour for food. When food finally arrived it wasn?t even what we ordered and the two waiters(one obviously new)... made excuses as to why we didn?t get what we ordered. Ended up giving the food away as it was unpalatable to me. And then theyexpected us to pay for it. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!! I would not recommend this restaurant for any reason. Read more
Food came out lukewarm and took an eternity despite the place being fairly empty on a weekday. Pizza was undercooked and the... only reason I am giving this place a pity star is because the server was pretty good. They really need to hire more than oneserver for a restaurant like this. I've eaten here 3 times in the last 3 months. I've waited to post a review because I wanted to give them the benefit of the... doubt, but every time I've been there has been much the same as my experience tonight. I showed up and sat down and it took 25minutes for the waitress to acknowledge I was there. I ordered one beer and asked for a menu which took another 10 minutes toget. I waited about 15 more minutes to get my order taken. This is 50 minutes to get my order taken from the time I showedup. I ordered the chicken fried steak which turned out to be nothing more than a breaded hamburger patty. It was good but itwas not a chicken fried steak. I thought about complaining but I couldn't because I didn't see the waitress for another 35minutes. After over 2 hours and just about walking out without paying I finally got my check. By that time I was in no mood toeven say anything, I just wanted to go to bed. Next time I stay at the red Lion I will just go in there and order a pizza fromsomewhere else. Read more
Visited for a meal on a Wednesday evening. Wasn't particularly busy, but took over 15 minutes for a server to visit the table,... then another 10 to get menus (which I had to go find and collect myself). Then took another 15 minutes before she came back totake our order, and another 15 before our drinks came back. Food took a long time as well (about 35 minutes) but was good. Evenwith $5 coupons from the hotel the visit wasn't worth it. We got the impression the server was ignoring the section we wereseated in because she thought she'd make more tips on the other side of the bar. Read more
