Great experience at The Hatch! Recommend by friends and some of the locals at the Wineries and it did not disappoint. We... didn’t have reservations but, were lucky to get bar seating as soon as we walked up to the door. Quincy at the bar was veryfriendly and recommended the Barrel Aged old fashioned, and the Terracotta with Habanero tequila and Mezcal - both great drinks. Her recommendations for The fire roasted hen of the woods mushroom and the grilled artichoke were spot on- great smoky flavors. Also recommended the house secret Toasted (grilled) sour dough bread (not on the menu) - oh boy!! A wonderful evening withfriendly staff, good drink and great food. Read more

All you have to do is mention The Hatch to anyone in the Paso Robles area and the comment is "I love that place." Old fashion... superb and went perfectly with the appetizer of grilled mushrooms. Then it was time for the amazing rosteriery chicken thatliterally falls off the bones on the wouldn't board it is served on. I will be can back. Read more

Really tender pork, moist and without much fat, so the kitchen did a nice job on service and plating. Fig is a fun play on a... quintessential Central Valley fruit instead of using apples Read more

What a great place to have a delicious meal. I had the fried chicken which came with bacon potatoe salad. Superb. My guests had... the fettuccine and meatloaf which were all great. The hit at the table was the porkbelly appetizer. Man it was goooodddd! Liteatmosphere, friendly staff and the owner Scott who came over to say hello rounded out a perfect early dinner. A gem in PasoRobles Ca. Bravo! Read more

Deserves its fine reputation. Tight quarters mean gaining entry takes planning (reservations) or patience (wait outside or at a... wine bar next door). Reliance on dishes that can be prepared in advance (meat loaf, chicken) speeds up service. Read more

They were fully booked for Saturday night a few days in advance but we were able to sign up on a waiting list for bar seating. ... Great service from the bartender, though we had to wait quite a while in between dishes. We loved the roasted mushrooms - smokyand tangy. The salmon was perfectly cooked. My favorite was the steak, which came with bacon onion jam, whipped blue cheeseand caramelized onion. It was a nice change from a classic steak. Street parking is pretty easy to find in the area. First 2hours are free. Read more
