My boyfriend and I had a late morning breakfast at fill ups on Easter Sunday, and it was great! We ordered the avocado Texas... toast and a chicken & waffles. The food came out very fast as was good! Nice to find a fast, causal and not so $$$ place to eatwhile on vacation. A lot of the seafood places are pretty spendy, I like this fun retro place to change up the vibe a little.They have a great patio at this location! I love this place. I?ve been in the area three nights and I?ve had breakfast here every morning. I?m altering my plans for... heading home in order to get ONE more breakfast there in the morning. Their menu is wonderful with interesting entrees. I?ve hadtheir chicken and waffles and their hangover part 1 and part 2 offerings. All were fantastic. The coffee pot is accessible forrefills and it?s a very nice place with inside and outside seating. The staff there are all friendly and it?s just the bestbreakfast spot that I?ve found. My wife wasn?t along for this trip, but I?ve been ranting about this place and promising thatI?ll be bringing her here the first chance that we get to head this way. Read more
We were just driving by and decided to stop for breakfast and are so glad we did! The place is very clean and looks great. The... service was so friendly and really made us feel welcome. So, we checked this place out based on suggestion of the property manager for the house we are staying. We rolled up at about... noon on a Monday and luckily there were only a few cars in the lot. Strangely?. The hostess couldn?t have been more annoyed, shedidn?t look at us and seated us without making any sort of attempt at pleasantries. Anyway, I found it slightly comical and whoknows she may have had a bad morning. We got to sit by a window, where we got to have a view of the staff smoking and drinking,which I found humorous. The service was okay. The gal said she was new, and proceeded to squirrel up 3 out of 5 orders. No bigdeal really. HOWEVER. I found the food to be quite nice. The biscuits are alarmingly large. The chicken fried steak was nice. Wegot somewhat tepid reviews on the BLT, but the waffles both got thumbs up. It?s interesting, really. I?m on the fence. I likedthe food, but am not a huge fan of being?.. what?s the word ? dismissed maybe? Maybe it?s just beach season fatigue orsomething?. But I would assume vacationers would be their bread and butter. Maybe service and attitude don?t matter, vacationerswill eat anything and leave? Who knows?. Perhaps I simply caught them on a bad day. This place looks great and I heard that it had been completely rebuilt. I like the decor and it has a good, relaxed vibe about... it. The service was reasonable and Alyssa was pleasant. The food was ok - not bad, but nothing really special. Our group hadwaffles (great), biscuits and gravy (plentiful but bland) and eggs with veggies (decent). Had a fabulous breakfast here. A family member of ours recommended we try this place and they were right...The food is AMAZING!... I had the Fill-up with Billups meal and I was stuffed when I finished. The smoked Bacon was heavenly, the breakfast potatoeswere seasoned to perfection and the Belgium Waffle had the most amazing crispness to the outside of it but the inside was stillso fluffy, warm, & Delicious.
