We recently moved to Pataskala and I saw this little fish place named Rusty's Wharf down the street. Being from the East Coast,... I was a little skeptical on fish and chips from mid-Ohio - but I decided to try it out. Very glad I did! The fish was very freshand cooked to a golden crisp. The hush puppies are amazing, and the chips are very tasty. My wife has also ordered sandwichesfrom there and said they were exceptional as well. Always fast, fresh, friendly and delicious. Do yourself a favor and go inside to eat. Plenty of seating in a casual and quiet... dining room and the food is WAY better when you eat it fresh from the kitchen. The fish and chips tend to get cold and soggyonce it gets packaged for carry out. Read more
I?m not sure how this place can make Everything on the menu amazing, but they do. ???? Our waitress recommended their homemade... honey mustard dressing for my chicken. The chicken was amazing by itself, and when you pair it with the honey mustard it was offthe chains. All of the food was amazing and I thought OK, now there?s no way the cannoli can be as good as the food was. I waswrong. Their cannoli was some of the best I?ve ever had. - fish & chicken were fresh, juicy and flavorful, both had a good amount of breading to meat ratio. Hush puppies were really... good and chips were nice and crispy. The proportions were good as well. - prices are good normally spend $8 per person. - newlocation is very nice, and they now have a drive thru. - inside is clean and organized. - staff super friendly and managementare amazing. - good atmosphere. - overall a good place for food, I'd recommend it for sure. Simple, tasty food and very friendly staff! I was in town for a couple days at my parents? and though there isn?t much in... Pataskala, Rusty?s Wharf is a hidden gem! I liked it so much, I got it both days I was in Pataskala. Service was quick to get memy order and the food was still hot when I got back. Not greasy at all, great crunch. First off this is a Pepsi restaurant, which is amazing! I almost didn't stop because I saw joke on a photo of the menu but those... must be old. Fish is the best around and prices are good. Hush puppies are num num, like a dessert and the cannolis are awesome. Read more
We ordered a carryout order for the first time and we've lived in the area for two years. I'm really surprised we hadn't heard... somebody recommend this place. It's seafood; fish & chips, clams, shrimp, etc. Thier hushpuppies are really good. Breading has areally good flavor, a little on the too crispy side for me personally but, good nonetheless. Chicken was a little bland, chiliwas weird, don't get me wrong, it had an awesome flavor but...SPICY! Too spicy for my SO who likes spicy food and, honestly, I'mjust not used to chili being spicy. Maybe a little kick, but not too spicy to eat. I can go without chili though lol. Diningarea was empty but looked nice, I absolutely love their unique nautical decor & I adore how they have one whole wall dedicatedto caricatures of all the employees! We'll definately be eating there again...Oh! I almost forgot...they're reasonably priced aswell! For two adults & one child, I think we spent a little over thirty bucks.
