Played hookie from work the other day and decided to try Rhum on a whim with the wife. We went on a Thursday. Nice suprise was... the 3 tacos for 12 dollars and the half price on certain drink.Atmosphere of the place was great. The decor brought me back tothe carribbean ????%.The crazy wall on the second floor I might try and copy in the man cave. We had the Duck empanadas as arecommendation from our waitress and they were amazing. The dipping sauce with the horse radish cleared my sinuses as an addedperk. Best tacos ???? and the slaw has to be made daily. they say the keylime pie is award winning. After trying it I can'targue. The filling was sour and sweet and delicious but the star had to be the crust. I might just have to order the whole pieto go next time. I can't remember the last time I left a restuarant and was already planning on what I wanted to try next(Dominican Ribs) and the Keylime Pie again. I would advise anyone looking for something out of the box and delicious to try thisplace. You have a new repeat customer. Read more
Quite a pretty setting with a real Caribbean style. Very good cocktails. The service is correct. I don't really like French... Fries but the rest was Ok. Read more
RHUM never fails to impress. I've been a few times for lunch and the food is always delicious. I had my bridal shower there... recently (March '22) in their adorable private room and it was perfect. The salmon and island burger were both delicious. Theirhouse rum is hands down my favorite flavor ever - I need their secret recipe. Such a great restaurant. Read more

I found this spot by accident and I was happy about it! The atmosphere is worth the price of admission and they know it - and... own it. Tropical vibes with a menu that has a flair for the adventurous with flavor profiles to match! I enjoyed the specialguacamole appetizer that they offer - lots of yum and a decent portion. The Sticky Ribs were my Achilles heel there - soft, falloff the bone and overly delicious... only issue is there weren't enough! The tacos are fun as well; but keep in mind they'resold individually - so you'll need to order a few if you're really hungry. They also have a nice drink menu; but I didn't haveany with my lunch. With so many choices in the main street area of Patchogue, it's hard to know if you're picking the right place. My wife and I... decided on RHUM for lunch today and we were blown away. The service was excellent and the prices were more than fair. I had thetuna burger which was excellent and she enjoyed her veggie burger too. The appetizer selection was very good - not just thetired old choices of Buffalo wings and Calamari. I would certainly recommend the duck empanadas!! We are looking forward togoing back. Read more
Love the food here and our server was really awesome. Today there was a taco special.. we had the breaded sage shrimp, coconut... shrimp and jerk chicken taco. The island burger is my favorite, I always get that with a juicy sweet char grilled pineappleslice on it. There is a nice bar on the 1st floor.. and they do have roof top accommodations as well.
