You're not getting a better sandwich anywhere else. The heroes are massive and delicious. Whenever I go south to visit friends... that lived out here they always request I bring heroes from TJs. The Italian with the works is flawless! My 4 year old requestsone weekly Read more

We ordered Several 4ft Heros for Employee Appreciation Day. Everyone loved the taste of the food. I heard a lot of compliments... specifically on the Chicken Cutlet Hero (breaded) . The Salads were all very good also, specifically hearing about the macaronisalad. I enjoyed the redskin potatoe salad for sure. We will definately use them again we we do an event like this. When askedwho made the Heros I mentioned you, I hope they pop in for lunch some day. Many thanks. Read more

TJs hero’s is the best on the island! The sandwiches are delicious, and the owners and employees are very kind, there’s a... gentleman that works there I think he’s the owner, very nice man that always goes the extra mile for his customers, even ifthey get the order wrong, they do their best to fix it for you, which is understandable, even the best people make mistakes, ihighly recommend TJS!! TJs seriously makes the best heroes on Long Island. Whether you are native here and call them heroes, subs, grinders, or just... sandwiches “sammiches”, TJs in Patchogue is undoubtedly a must-visit place. The new location at the old Robinsons at theend of Oak St is a tremendous upgrade from the previous location on Main st. The coolers are stocked with all the necessitiesand the aisles are full of last minute grab-n-go items. You MUST try their homemade iced tea and Mac/potato salad too. 10/10. Double entrances and a large parking lot, the location couldn’t be better. I will admit it’s a bit pricey, I used tocome here 2-3 times a week, but can only afford this once every 2-3 weeks now because as soon as everyone in the family knowsI’m headed to TJ’s, they place their orders and I’m dropping almost a Benjamin on each visit. Finally, after all theseyears they’re accepting VISA/MC as a form of payment, and Laura and the phenomenal staff have NEVER gotten a hero order wrongin the 10+ years I’ve been going here. Never. Not once. 3’+ Party heroes are also outstanding. So grab a couple heroesfrom TJs, some drinks and sides, and head out to the beach, the dock or boat, the racetrack, a picnic, or simply back home, andenjoy the very best lunch (or dinner) on Long Island. -Dave from Patchogue. TJs has the most amazing sandwiches! I had to take off a star because the past few times they’ve messed up our order. Was... never a problem until recently. Even when we repeat the order we still end up with either the wrong sandwich or all larges whenwe ask for small. Just make sure they repeat your order back to you Read more

Yummy sub sandwiches on soft, fresh rolls. I've had the tuna salad, chicken parm, Manhattan roast beef and pastrami, all were... really good. Take out or eat in. Love the flavored ice tea. The lobster bisque soup was creamy and tasty. Definitely visitagain! Read more
