Behold a hidden gem, this is the cleanest and most well kept restaurant in downtown paterson. Cant tell how nice it is to see... that this restaurant gets professionaly sanitized weekly. I dont think i have seen this anywhere in paterson. You have to walkin to see for yourself how clean and well maintained this is compared to other restaurants in the area. I have come to learnthat this a 3rd generation family run restaurant who have been serving the latin community 60 years . A nice variety oftradition central american drinks with a full bar . Nice staff and very attractive hostess........ Read more

I ordered two chicken pupusas and one pork one. The staff taking the order, Christian, said the pork ones come with cheese and I... let him know I?m lactose and do not eat cheese. When I picked up the chicken ones also had cheese. Christian said they only makechicken cheese ones not just chicken. I explained I just had them last night at the Bloomfield location and they should specifythis more on the phone and in their menu. He said I could go return for other ones but I only have half hour for lunch so notable to. I asked to talk to a manager and he said hold on and disconnected the phone. Read more

?Sure, I?m down for some pupusas? ???? Pupusa Loca of Paterson ????Paterson, NJ ?? 4/5 ???? $ ???? Word of mouth / Google... Search I have seen this place in downtown Paterson for such a long time but never stepped foot inside to taste pupusas, aclassic dish from El Salvador. ???????? It?s a very friendly place, with nice mural paintings, and a bar. They played musicwhich gave the upbeat ambiance. I ordered two pupusas: pupusa de queso (with cheese) and pupusa revuelta (mixed with beans, cheese, and chicharrón (pork)). It was really fluffy and delicious. I also tried the tamal de elote which was basic but thecream was really good. (A bit salty but I thought it was a perfect compliment to the tamal). As a drink, I ordered sebada whichlooked and tasted like pepto bismol. ???? The place was a good spot to try Salvadorian food for the first time. It made meexcited to want to try more dishes at other spots. . . . #njeats #foodinnj #elsalvadorianfood #salvadorianfood #salvadorian#pupusas Read more

The prices are affordable. Lunch specials are great. The pupusas are made fresh on the spot, worth the wait. The staff is very... friendly. I was there for lunch during the week and it was not crowded. I sat right away. I'm not sure how busy it is at nightor weekends. Read more
