Just as I pulled in to this Sonic location, the outside lights were switched off at 9:48 p.m. on Wednesday, October 13. I... pulled up to the drive-thru anyway, knowing that the location was supposed to be open until 10:00 p.m. The female voice said,"I'm sorry, we're closed." I replied, "It's 9:48, you're supposed to be open until 10:00 p.m." Her glib reply was, "Our clocksays (reads) 10:00 p.m." So either my smart phone's Internet synchronized clock, as well as the Internet synchronized clock inmy vehicle (both of which displayed exactly 9:48 p.m.) were both wrong, or someone at Sonic either (a) reset the Sonic clocktwelve minutes fast, (b) didn't know how to read a clock, or (c) just felt like closing early, to hell with posted hours andcustomers. I was in the area for work, and had already planned based on the location's operating hours I had been informed ofthe previous day. Other than a sole convenience store, there is nothing in the way of a food establishment open until 10:00p.m. in this town, except Sonic, and apparently only when the staff feels like being open until 10:00 p.m. Here's how notamused I am over skipping dinner because some manager-on-duty in dire need of being unemployed decided to play games with theclosing time: I will go out of my way not only to never revisit this location, but to never again visit any Sonic locationanywhere. Very terrible customer service. The lady running the drive through told me she'll be right with me then asked how I was after I... responded she told me she was still not helping me. Then told me to go to a stall and they'd help me. 20 minutes in the drivethrough. 10 minutes in a stall with no answer. The burger joint up the road is probably your best bet for quick food on a lunchbreak. Read more
