This place is absolutely awesome,not only was the food amazing but I also liked the decor and manors the staff had.
For as long as I remember this place was bomb, but over the last year it's gone down hill. Chicken is wet and soggy, beef is dry... and lacking seasoning, they gave me lemons instead of limes and where the hell is the cilantro? and the price went up 25% nomore here for me. I have really enjoyed California Taco over the years but this one location Central Ave is the worst one I've ever been to. I... always order at least eight carne asada tacos with onions and cilantro I asked for extra limes and extra salsa verde. Alwaysdelicious at every location except for this one. When I went in to get my food the girl at the counter was very rude even thoughI had tipped her before I got my food. I noticed there was only two salsas and I asked her could I have a couple more becausetwo just isn't enough and I asked her if there was limes she told me they were inside so I opened it to look to make surebecause the time before they never gave me any. There were three tiny little half of a wedges I asked if I could get more limesand she gave me a really bad attitude and I heard her going to the kitchen talking to the Cook about how I'm complaining and howI want more limes. For almost $20 for only seven tacos including the tip I think they can at least give me more than three tinylittle wedges. The tacos were absolutely disgusting the meat was gritty fatty half of it was overcooked the other half wasbarely cooked the meat had no flavoring no seasoning and it tasted of a very cheap cut of meat. As well as there was hardly anyonions at all hardly any cilantro inside. not what I'm used to having when I order California taco. Very sad because I spend alot of money at California taco and because of this location and horrible experience there I will never buy California Taco everagain. Day old food microwaved was barely warm. Cheese in burrito not even melted. Shredded chicken was cold. Made me wait forty five... minutes for leftovers. What happened? Was always fresh before. Never again ??????? Read more
