So I went in there 4 the 1st time 2day. The place was really nice on the inside. Nice and clean. The menu is there on ur left... hand side as soon as u walk in nice n big n readable. The 1st n biggest problem was the workers. They were not helpful. No1 atall not 1 time even acknowledged that I was where. They just kept talking about whatever it was they was talking about when Iwalked in. It was like I wasn't even there. The saying is 1st impression is the best impression. Went their recently for a Italian grinder and even though the prices went up at least put enough meat in your grinder I... had two pieces of meat when I got home there should be at least four different meats last Italian grinder from there Igive them a two star rating Read more
This was perhaps the biggest waste of $45 ever. My order: 18" Margherita pizza, falafel plate, spinach pie, and grape leaves.... The pizza crust was flat, unrisen, and doughy which is weird for such a thin crust. There were NO tomatoes whatsoever, and threethat's right 3 basil leaves. The sauce looked like they brushed the dough with tomato paste before topping it with the 3 leavesand fresh mozzarella (the cheese was good). The falafel plate, dry oil soaked falafel(ish) mini pucks served on a bed of mushytasteless rice, with NO tahini sauce served on a (now soggy) pita and a side salad with pickles and no dressing. Spinach pieundercooked, and served with the same paste from the pizza on the side.. grape leaves were soft but tasted ok. I've never hadthem with hummus (really funky looking by the way) before though, should be cucumber sauce. If I had not been starved, I wouldhave driven every crumb of it back to Pizza Works. UPDATE: 4/1/22 : I assure you, I know where I placed, and picked up my order, and what I ordered. I also know that I did not exaggerate. It was just as I stated. I understand wanting to defend yourbusiness, but you can't do that by serving lousy food, and lying to try to cover up for it. Your food speaks for itself. Delivery came they over charged me when they came back to give me cash back they shorted me two dollars. They charged me 9.00... when they brought my money back they have me seven. The food was really good but the cashier needs to listen to her customer onthe phone instead of taking on top of them. I got 2 large pizzas, one extra cheese, one meatball. Both were very light and had hardly any cheese nevermind extra cheese.... Last week had the tuna grinder which wasn't even white tuna. For $9 you give chunk light brown tuna? Waste of money. Neveragain. Boston house of pizza in East Prov.is way better.***EDIT: I'M MISTAKEN ABOUT WHERE I GOT MY TUNA SUB?? YOU'RE SO RUDE. ITWAS DEFINITELY THE CHUNK LIGHT BROWN TUNA! MADE FRESH TO ORDER, YEAH OK! You're making a fortune selling a sub for $9 that costs50 cents for cheap tuna. And as far as the pizza, I ordered the 2 one topping deal. It asks for the 1st topping i said cheese,obviously it means extra because the pizza already comes with cheese.then add the 2nd topping. I am a frequent patron of Pizza Works...there pizza is exceptional with fresh ingredients and SUPER service...if you want to try... other items...I also purchased there calzones...this is the last 3 days I ordered 2 pizzas...my favorite is the pepperoni andpepper pizza...great place great people.!. Sandwich had nothing on it! Bread not toasted but everything was fresh and the associates were very nice
