I luv this place, I always find myself in different places n sumtimes I avoid small towns cause there ain't much to do or eat... but once in awhile u find a goldmine lol n this place is definitely a must try if ur on i57 going anywere. The homemade sauce isto die for n erything else was authentic n wonderful. OMG it's so so good. Maria Torres was our waitress and she did an amazing job. She was the only waitress working today and she... kept up with everyone. The atmosphere was relaxing and there were 4-5 TV's to watch your favorite sport channel on. The food wason point. I had the taco salad. This taco salad had steak, bean's, lettuce, cilantro, sour cream and slice's of avocado. Theshell was light and flaky. The dish was not to big and not to small, just right. My husband had a cheeseburger and fries. Hesaid that the burger was nice and juicy, and it was done. It's really hard to get a fully cooked cheeseburger and have it bejuicy and done. We also had a Mexican soda. It was Tamaranian soda. The flavor was just like eating a real Tamaranian. Yummy. Iwill say that I would recommend La Hacienda Cantina to anyone. Read more

We were recommended to try this place while at Mom & Pop's, and the food did not disappoint!! Everything was fresh and full of... flavor. The Al Pastor tacos and Oaxacan-style Tamale were our favorites. Make sure you try the Passion Fruit margaritas, it wasso good! One of the best Mexican restaurants in Central Illinois! I would give this place 5 stars but they forgot my food, they forgot my side that I ordered and I sat at the table with 3 other... people for about 10 min before they brought it to me. That being said, I had the absolute best tacos here. They were so good andI will definitely come again. Read more
