Inadequate communication. Very slow. Over charged us for meat processing. Meat seems OK so far.

Neil took in an antelope he shot Oct 7, 2021 to be processed. We ordered 1/2 maple sausage and 1/2 mild breakfast sausage. As... well as 2 packages of bacon. Got the order back, some packages labeled mild some med and other not at all. We opened apackage of each to find out it tasted like no seasoning at all. hamburger? They said they would make it right so we droppedoff beginning of December and picked up middle of January. Cooked this morning to find that not only was there still no maple,not even a hint but so salty it is not edible. Bacon was super dry and not bacon flavor. Customer service? After returning for2nd time, our order should have been expedited to the front of processing due to their mistake. Instead it took a month and ahalf to get back and still not right but inedible and a waste of an animal that was to feed our family for the winter. I wouldNOT recommend this processor. Read more

UPDATE....1/14/2022 We just had to throw out more pork. Thawed 2 cured ham steaks, one looked brownish the other bright red. ... (See pictures) Opened the brown one, it STUNK..... the other did not. I do not know what they did to this hog. Looked atthe rest in the freezer and looks like about 4 or 5 more will be thrown. Complete waste of a pig and money. I will NEVER spendanother penny here. We got half a hog butchered here. Went to thaw bacon today, used the cold water thaw method. Bacon wasslimy, brown patches, and had an bad odor. So we threw that one out and grabbed another from the deep freezer, and had the sameproblem as the first one. This was not the first problem we had with this batch of meat (wrong cuts, threw away another thatthe vacuum seal didn't hold). Looking at all the bacon still in the freezer you can clearly see brown patches in every package. I may check another, but I have a feeling it will all be thrown. As it currently stands, I would not recommend, nor will Irefer their services to anyone. Read more

Got half a pig processed here. All of the bacon that I received had brown spots and strips of brown amongst all of the packages... of bacon (see picture). The vacuum packaging on the pork chops and hams that I also received from the same pig is not fullysealed and is not holding a vacuum anymore. I do NOT recommend this processor. Read more

My hamburger that was processed here we are not able to eat since it's loaded with tendons and veins. Wasted alot of money ... between purchasing the cow and the processing now we can't eat the meat. Read more

We were so excited to find this gem along our road trip route in lieu of the fast food we would?ve been otherwise stuck with. We... got a turkey sandwich panini style and a brisket sandwich and they were two of the best sandwiches we?ve ever had, for a veryreasonable price. If we are passing through around lunch time on our way back we?ll absolutely be stopping again! They also hadnice rocker/chairs on the patio that we were able to enjoy the sandwiches on. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Read more
