This is a beautiful place to stay. We had the best time here. The room is so comfortable the beds felt very nice we had no... trouble going to sleep. I sort of felt like a queen and king in this room it was a very nice place to visit. I wished I could'vestayed a week here. Great place to park. Place to fuel up vehicle. Did a quick overnight stay in the parking lot. Peaceful and friendly place to camp. You can hear wild life all around you so be... careful if you have a small dog! Read more
The casino is always a pleasure to visit . Friendly staff, not afraid to make jokes and have fun. Removal of free soda station... was however a disappointment. The large event room, is also a great edition. Have fun. Read more
Every year around this time, I head up north to get out of the heat for a day or two. Haven't done it for a couple years... (pandemic and job loss), but I got back on track this year. The hotel room was a nice suite. Clean and well-appointed, and ata very reasonable price mid week. The Cedar Ridge restaurant was nice, I had the Cajun catfish for dinner, and chicken friedsteak & eggs for breakfast. The casino is small, and the smoke smell is so strong I cut my time in there short. Unfortunatelyyou have to walk through the casino to get to the restaurant, so that might be a deal-breaker for some folks. Perhaps moreventilation is needed. Other than that, it was a nice stay. We stopped in to eat dinner at the restaurant. The service was excellent, the food was amazing, full of flavor. I had the... sirloin steak which was cooked to perfection and seasoned nicely. This is a nice little casino. However, they do have a nonsensical rule at the bar that I've run into twice now. The service to... get a drink on the casino floor is awful, so I always go there to get a drink. However, I need to get two, one for me andanother for my wife. I can get 2 16-oz beers, but not two 22-oz beers because that's against the rules, apparently. This makeszero sense. This does keep me from going back because I'm stubborn, and the rule is plain silly. Read more
