Best BBQ I?ve had in a long time. I had brisket & hubby had smoked turkey, service was great & they suggested trying the potato... salad & beans both were outstanding! Sauces are really yummy too! The server was good. She was attentive and was moving as fast as possible. Today was the first day with the pizza oven. Would... have been nice to be informed of that before we ordered 2 pizzas. Took almost and hour and 1/2 for lunch! If we had know maybewe would have ordered an appetizer. Lunch was ok. The portion sizes were a little on the small size. Owner Robert said he?d make it right after disappointing dry brisket. He paid for my dinner tonight and then called me to see if... it was ok. Our daughter wanted us to try this barbecue restaurant in Payson, Arizona. It's her favorite barbecue restaurant, and I can see... why! We had the "Sampler Platter", which included a lot, including Brisket, Smoked Turkey and Pulled Pork. Potato Salad, RanchBeans and Sweet Corn. For dessert, we had Peach Cobbler, which was delicious. Awesome Awesome Awesome! WE REALLY ENJOYED our Brisket. Our waitress was Lisa she was very nice and attentive. The place was... very bright and cheerful. The reality is that you must be flexible about what you want to eat. I was planning to have the Turkeythey were out. Ribs out. Brisket was all they had at 6:30pm. So the food ????. SOO REFRESHING! It's great to see the management interacting with their guests. Robert , the manager or owner came over to our... table and greeted us warmly .Asked if we had received service and even went and personally got a spicy sauce that he thoughtwe should try . You don't see this kind of service anymore and really added to our dining experience. Lacey our server was cheerful , helpful and prompt! We ordered a variety of stuff and wow .. everything made in house and you can tell! We were at the Testicle Festival and BBQ showdown, we wanted BBQ!! Like a whole plate. We searched on Yelp and came along this... amazing place. First off, the service was spectacular! We chose to sit on the patio, awesome patio I must say, beautiful anddoggie friendly! The food was so good! I got smoked turkey (super yum) with their beans and corn. OMG, the corn, I could eat abucket of this stuff. The beans are so good, loaded with pork too! Hubby got the sample platter that literally comes witheverything, he loved it! Obviously couldn?t eat all of it however that?s okay we have food now for like two more days. If youare ever in Payson, pay this gem a visit, you won?t be let down. Read more
