The last couple of times we have gone we haven?t been impressed. This last time we did drive through and they forgot a couple... things in our order and they didn?t give us any forks. The food mostly taste good but the service is awful. Also I went on mybirthday because all I wanted was their tres leches cake. And they didn?t have any. Went back a few weeks later? still nonethere. The food is super inconsistent here. I typically order the same 2 or 3 things but they are never the same in taste. Last time... I visited the lettuce they put on the food was disgusting and tasted weird, parts were brown and wilted. I love Cafe Rio butthis location needs to improve! Read more
One of worst customers service I ever had experience. I order a steak salad and when I got home I notice that they gave me pork.... I went back and all the employees just looked at mebecause the older gentleman with grey hair was being disrespectful towardsme. He was offended that I came in to complain about my order. All I wanted was them to add the correct meat, but this guyprecedes to yell at me saying that I order pork and he was certain because he was the one who took my order. He basically wastelling me I was in the wrong and shouldn?t of came in to get my order fixed. Once he remade my salad he went to look up myreceipt to prove me wrong about what meat I order. Then when he saw my receipt and notice that I did order steak he then giggledand told me to have a nice day. He ignore that fact that he yell at me about a salad. Due to this very rude customer service Iwill no longer be eating at cafe rio. I hope the general manager of payson cafe rio see this because no customer should bedisrespect in front of all these employees the way I was. This was embarrassing and very disrespectful. Read more
They can NEVER get their to go orders right. if you want your orders right make sure to dine in. drove back to my house 15 mins... away and never got any ranch for our salads. Paying $10 for a salad it best come with ranch. Figure out your to go situationother than that they?re good! Read more
Cafe Rio has pretty good food. There are usually other Mexican places I'd rather go that are cheaper with better food though,... but I will say that their rewards/loyalty program is better than most. You can earn free food pretty fast. The horchata isactually pretty good for a chain place. They always seem to be out of something I want, either the meat or beans that I'mcraving that day, but it's usually pretty fast and consistent. Read more
My husband, daughter, and I ate at this location a couple weeks ago. We?ve always had a better experience at the Payson location... than others, but this visit Alfredo, Brooke, and Koby really surpassed expectations. Any fast food is hit and miss during busyhours, but I?ve not experienced that here. Food was well made, portions were generous and not skimpy, service was fast andefficient, and staff were kind and responsive to a pregnant mama?s specific needs. That can be hard and annoying to do. Visited this location for the first time. A few notes. We ordered our meals online to go. They got most of our order right but... did put pork in our burrito instead of the grilled chicken we had ordered. I had to make a trip back to get it fixed. Which theydid and they gave a free dessert as an apology. Otherwise, my only other note was my chicken tostada was decent but reallylacked any chicken. I swear it had maybe 4 pieces total. So, like many Cafe Rio locations, you take a gamble when you go here,especially to go. Read more
I absolutely do not recommend the Payson location. Employees rarely get our orders correct, and they constantly close early.... Advertised to close at 10, this is the third time I?ve shown up before 9:30 and they?re closed and not answering phones. Visitanother location that will actually serve you.
