I used to like Chubby's. They were generous with portions and the burgers were quite good. Due to previous good experiences in... both dine-in and take-out, we decided to eat there again. We got Chubby's take out and the quality wasn't there this time. Thecondiments on the burgers were skimpy, the cheese on was all on one side, the patties were overcooked, and the amount ofpastrami was about 1/2 of what it used to be. They also reduced the fries to about 1/3 of what they used to give. They used toalways be really busy. This Saturday afternoon, they were quite slow, and now I know why. The price was cheap and food was really good and plentiful. I got very full from the 3 chicken tenders I ordered. The staff was... very nice and helped me with any questions I had, it also wasn't too busy so this is for sure a hidden gem in Payson and wouldrecommend coming here if you're looking for a quick bite Read more
I finally stopped in to see what all the hype was about. Well... Womp..... womp. They had been out of pulled pork for atleast a... week. The cashier said " The smoker was broken". Yikes! I got the Bleu bacon burger with fries. It was very good! The meat was juicy and flavorful, the bun wasn't dry and the cheese... was thick and creamy. Would def recommend. Read more

This is easily one of my favorite places to eat out there. Me and my family go here all of the time. All of their food is just... so good and yet they have such a great variety of American food to choose from. The burgers are top notch, probably my favoriteburger out there. They have some really good milk shakes and scones and all sorts of stuff. But then probably the best thing andthe main reason to go to chubby's for me is the beer battered fries. They are so good, they are crispy but not hard and theyhave a very different flavor and it is just so good. All this and the prices arent that terrible, they're pretty average forthis kind of place with above average food so it is definitely worth it to come here. Great all American place to eat. Very open layout w/ high warehouse type ceiling and tall store front windows. Has an... country Americana design with great entrees to go with the them. Get any of there burgers or scones and you wont bedisappointed. Parking could be better, but it is worth the walk if you need to. You pay for your food when you order at thefront counter and they bring it to you. Finally the tip is asked for at the time of payment as a % of your order 5, 10, 15, or20% on a touch screen. I liked how easy it was to tip an unknown server but not that I was tipping before I was served or evenknew who was getting the tip, then again other than delivery of the cooked food it is self-serve such as refilling your owndrinks and the like.
