Over the years we had lost faith in Friendly's restaurants but our trip to the Peabody Friendly's totally restored that! Best... service, kindest employees (the waitress hugged my daughter for her birthday) and great food! Wish we lived closer to go backmore often! Good food friendly service. For a chain that is sadly going downhill this one location in particular was by far one of the best... I've been in lately. Clean and well maintained and staff that knew what they were doing. I would have given it 5 stars but whileusing the men's room I noticed that the stall was less of a stall and more of a peep show as the gaps in between the pieces wasmore than should be allowed. Had a great experience here. Food was tasty, the ice cream sundae was insanely good, and the restaurant was very clean. The... best part was Sophia! She was so kind and helpful. I am from out of state and she was able to point me in the right directionon multiple things. She was working very hard that night. Thank you Sophia for making my family and I's night. Read more
The cheeseburger had no cheese. The large sundae was very small, hardly any ice cream. It was missing the nuts too ! I do know... they were very busy so that might be the reason why. I have always loved this place. I will give them another shot. You shoulddo the same. Read more
It's been a while since we visited since so many of these restaurants have closed. My western Mass husband grew up with... Friendly's, so it's always a trip into our past. He had a burger and I had the fishamajig, our usual. They were good, as usual.The restaurant was deserted when we arrived, so we weren't sure it was open. A few other people came in after us, so it didn'tfeel so weird. Thre service was a little slow, also normal. Read more
I never do this.. I got a Jim Dandy to go!! Got home to my house in Saugus and it was awful!! No marshmallow, no strawberries,... no chocolate sauce no jimmies!!! I asked for extra whip cream and was lucky it had a drop on it!! Basically it was a huge cup ofice cream with bananas!! I kept eating it thinking it was all coming and then realized they left out all the sauces andJimmie?s!! So disappointing and a waste of time and money! Tried calling for over a half hour no answer!! I?ve been in thisindustry for over 25 years and it?s one thing to make a small mistake but to leave out 4 main parts is just not right! Service was horrible. It toke 32 mins for someone to get our drink order, and food order. The food came out nice and quick but... was not very good. Overall the experience was not good, after waiting so long I should have left. Read more
