If I could give it 10 stars, I would. The pizza with mushrooms was amazing, cooked perfectly and only $10.95! Unheard of. We... ordered a salad to share, and thought they must have made a mistake because they brought two. . Nope, it was just one that theysplit for us and it was more than enough for the two of us. Really great Italian restaurant. Nice and cozy with a warm wait staff. You could tell your in the right place when there's a... table of old school Italian men sitting at the corner table all wearing fedora hats drinking wine and just talking. Localshaving great conversation at the bar with the bartender. The bread with the dipping sauce were great. The garlic humus and oliveoil and basalmic glaze were amazing. We ordered the sautéed mussels in cherry tomato sauce. That dish was absolutely perfect.Doing the bread in that sauce was another added bonus. We got the baby clam linguine. That dish was very good the only complaintwas the pasta was a bit undercooked. My friend ordered the same dish and felt the same. Overall a great experience with greatfood and service. Italian food at its best. With its intimate size it allows them to focus on the several plates at hand rather than trying to... pump out tons of tables at once. Smart choice! There is such attention to detail and every bit of food they'll put out,masters! I was with a party of 6 and got to try 5 of their dishes as well as my own. Each and everyone of them blew me away. Thechicken milanse was my favorite, bright cherry tomatoes, arugula, lemon sauce and a breaded piece of chicken that was easilyover 12 inches. Their meatballs ( I've never liked a restaurant meatball in the past) were completely moist and full of flavor.Pasta alla fongale ( baby clam sauce over linguine) was perfectly seasoned, many restaurants add far too much garlic to thisdish and overwhelm it, and disguise the natural clam flavor. Marcos has the best balance I've ever had at an establishment. Thewaitstaff were pleasant, observsnt and accommodating. Drinks were priced fairly and inline with other alcohol offerings in thearea. One of our favorite Italian restaurants in the north shore. It can get pretty busy and the service does get slower especially... when they open up the patio. But the food is always great so it?s worth the wait. Read more
Amazing Italian food with a nice modern atmosphere. Make sure to get reservations if it?s a weekend as it?s not a huge location... and they fill up ! Their aranchinis are delicious and crispy (make sure to ask for extra sauce as it?s delicious). I got thischicken broccoli and fussili and it was a 10/10. Filled with flavor and perfectly cooked pasta with amazing chicken andbroccoli. You definitely need to ask for more bread to clean the plate once you finish. Marcos is an outstanding Italian cuisine without the hassle of driving to North End Boston. The meals were delicious with huge... portions at a valuable price ! Service is great here with waiters being kind and speedy and keeping us fed quickly with qualitydishes! Highly Recommend Dishes: Chicken Parmesan and the Veal Parmesan is absolutely delicious as well with a tender meat, lotsof cheese, and homemade pasta!! I want to thank Marco for seating our group of 5 without a reservation! We did wait a little while for our waiter to make it to... us, but they were really busy and those guys did not stop. It was worth the wait! Also, I can say without a doubt some of themost amazing food and drink( not just Italian!) I have ever put in my mouth. Came in town for work and the hotel is right next door. Decided to give them a try from the reviews and pics shared on Google... and was glad I did. The space is gorgeous inside and very clean. I did not catch his name, but the gentleman that helped me wasamazing. I went with his dinner recommendations and got the fried calamari to start and the linguini with clams and red sauce.The serving was huge and there were tons of clams (20-30). Pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was to die for. He evenbrought me some more bread so I could wipe the bowl clean. If you're in the area and want some legit Italian food for lunch ordinner, I can't recommend these guys enough. Wish I was in town longer so I could work my way through the entire menu.
