It was my birthday and the waitress was new and didn’t check on us to see if we were ok despite the long wait for our food.... The appetizer was late as well just should have kept it. Calamari was over cooked. I ordered the special Salmon and lemon rice.It made me nauseous after I ate my food. The rice was not good at all no lemon anywhere. It tasted like box uncle Bens rice.Just bland. First time visiting and I will not be returning. This is one of the nicer restaurants in PTC. I order the Grits Antonio it’s my fave! I’m giving 3 stars bc I would like to... see online ordering and more thought towards the younger generations that live in PTC as well. We had just moved back from outof state and I wanted the Grits Antonio but when I called to order they declined to take my order. It was really rude and I wasso disappointed I didn’t go back for a year. Last thing, it’s not a good idea to use a styrofoam to-go container for theshrimp and grits. This is going to be a huge review. My wife and I have been looking for a date night spot in Peachtree city a little over a year... and a half since we moved here. We have tried fun places professional places midprice places and even dive. So far consistently,everything has been a let down. Georgia shrimp company always had people outside on the porch and I know that it has been inFayette county for many many years. When we went in a few Thursdays ago we were not expecting the experience that wereceived. Thanks to Covid and staffing issues we had to wait for our evening meal but we understand that that is exactly whatthe world is like and the host was incredibly accommodating and kind to us. So we went to the bar to go grab a drink before ourtable. The girl at the bar blended an absolute perfection of a martini with blue cheese olives! For my wife and for me poured aGerman half of Eidson the same way the Germans do. I know it might seem like a silly point but the bartender knew not only howto prepare mixed drinks but also how to treat different beer styles and it was served in the appropriate glassware. These aresmall touches that really do speak to the quality of this restaurant. When we got to our table the waitress was incrediblyprompt kind and very welcoming. We immediately ordered the fresh shrimp appetizers as well as our main entrées the shrimp andgrits as well as the shrimp sampler platter for my wife. The restaurant was extremely clean and decorated simply yet classy.There were no crumbs on the floor there was no tacky decorations up, and the table is not sticky! The wine list is extensive asis the drink menu in general. Even a large fish tank near the back is expected yet exceptional. While we waited, fresh breadand real butter came to the table. Have to be honest. Wasn't overly impressed with the lunch at Georgia Shrimp Company. They have specific lunch hours, and a... specific lunch menu (smaller choices than dinner) but not lunch prices. These were still high priced lunch items. It didn'ttake long to realize why it was so empty in the restaurant. $$$. I didn't go with signature shrimp as I possibly should have.Went with the fish and chips because it's difficult to screw up fish and chips. I wasn't blown away by the flavor. Thebreading was a little tough and somewhat bland. Service was fine, nothing spectacular. They seemed really confused when weordered alcohol with our lunch. I loved this place! It has a huge beautiful fish tank next to the bar. The food was delicious but the seafood is mainly fried.... The wine selection is nice and was delicious. The servers were so sweet. Read more

Took my daughter on a lunch date. I like to compare similar items to samples I’ve had from other restaurants: The tuna... appetizer is awesome! Came on a bed of Asian slaw. She ate my last pieces…LoL. The smoked salmon is on the lighter/milderflavor side, but still good. My daughter had the fish skillet dinner which she chose to feature with salmon and trout. I chosethe Cajun salmon that was accompanied with potatoes and cream spinach. This was a nice pairing (trio). Occasionally, I wouldeat spinach with the fish or potatoes.
