Disappointing for a Zaxbys! The service wasn?t too bad, the young girl sweeping was kind enough to take our order when she... realized no one else was paying attention? she didn?t exactly know what she was doing, but she was friendly so that?s all thatmatters. Customers who come here for lunch are in for an excruciating wait time because this particular Zaxby's is consistently slow.... Drive thru wait times and even ordering inside will take too long to be served. Unfortunately, there seems to be no sense ofurgency when they get busy. We saw people go in and come out of the dining area after a few minutes and leave without orderingtheir food. This last time was probably our last time because while the fries were good, the Texas toast was hard and thechicken tenders were overdone and chewy. Our drinks were nearly full to the top with ice. Usually they have at best mediocre service but apparently life is too hard for them to open up on time here as of late. Got... there at 11 to order to only be told they?re not open today. Well, Zaxby's has become worse than fast food. This was my first post-COVID visit, and it was truly disappointing. The menu has... been reduced to a minimal salad choice - regular or Cobb - no blackened, no spicy wing sauce, chicken was old, mostly batter andvery little chicken. A pinch of grated cheese, smushed clump of tomatoes, a few fried onions, and toast. Dressing packets arehalf the size now, and the ranch was thin, so even 2 packets weren't enough. $22 for old crunchy bits. Staff was friendly andservice was mostly ok. Restaurant was clean.
