Great drinks and seafood is quite a combination. I come here every time I visit my daughter at Jackson State. The food is... delicious and the drinks are superb! Tip your staff. The host was awful she had an attitude walked lazy? and didn?t even speak or say come with her! The seafood was such a small... amount for larger than other restaurants price! The butter didn?t appear to be butter? just oil! The chicken tenders for mychild was over cooked to the point she couldn?t eat them . The como I tasted no liquor at all! Worst dining experience we have ever had. We have heard such good things about this location but apparently something has... happened here. The food was not good at all. The fried pickles were absolutely disgusting. We had to send them back, they werenot edible. How do you mess up fried pickles? The fried catfish was very bland, it had no flavor whatsoever. The chicken stripswere the same way. The boiled shrimp and sausage were not flavorful either. The only thing you tasted was spice. As if it wasjust smothered in Cajun seasoning. I was expecting a very flavorful dinner especially for the price. That was not the case here.The service was horrible also. The waiter was very rude and not very personable at all. Just not what you would expect. Our sonwanted gumbo and the waiter actually said ?the gumbo is not good. None of us recommend getting it. Nobody likes it!? Well thatsounds like a problem doesn?t it. A great restaurant for all seafood lovers especially if you love crab. They offer a wide selection of crabs seasoned just like... you like. They also have additional items on the menu if you don't love crab. Read more
Went on a Thursday night at 7 pm. Wondered why there were hardly any people inside until I received my food. I was suppose to... receive 1lb of crab legs and 1/2 lbs of shrimp for 40 bucks. I prob got 20 bucks worth and the crab legs had not meat on theinside. Waitress said I'm not the first to complain about it. Don't waste your time at this place. They use potatoes, corn,and boiled water to measure out your order weight. What I had to eat equalled an appetizer. Horrible experience. Read more
The service was great, nobody was really there at 3:45PM. The food was warm, but definitely wasn?t freshly made. Seemed like it... was just warmed up and some sauce was thrown on top. Maybe next time will be better. Read more
My family and I ate lunch here and the experience was wonderful. The staff was friendly and well attentive from the minute we... walked through the door. The food was amazing. The portions were surprisingly large for a seafood restaurant, especially for theprice we paid. Overall experience was great. Highly recommend.
