Kwan Thai restaurant is hand down one of the BEST Thai restaurants that even rivals the most opulent in NYC. The staff,... atmosphere and the food is always sensational. A true must go. I highly recommend it. Read more

The bartender/owner is definitely a character - quite a jokester. I could see some people not taking to his humor. Small,... family-run place with a built-in bar. Golden cups appetizer was good, especially with the homemade green and red hot sauces.Thai calamari was nothing special; season well, with a nice sweet chili dipping sauce, but overcooked and rubbery. Drunkennoodles were flavorful; ordered Thai Spicy, the dish was satisfyingly fiery but not punishing. I appreciate that the waitstaffdid not try to convince me to order something less spicy (with a complexion as pale as mine, a common occurrence). Portions wereon the smaller side. The stuffed bananas dessert (with ice cream) was a nice finish. Read more

Every time i go here i get so happy that there is a picky-kid menu for chicken and chips while the parents get to have curry and... chang. Every time i we go to the restaurant we are welcomed as family, it is just so welcoming and the food is amazing. 10/10and the owners are amazing. Read more

When we walked in we were greeted by a very nice man who sat us down and never gave us menus. We waited about 15 minutes before... I asked, "Hey, Can we get some menus??" No offer of water or drinks or even a drink menu! The place was fairly busy with only 2waitresses who were running around like chickens without heads. The waitress was unfriendly and hurried. The food was excellentthough and that's why I gave 3 stars. We started with the duck pancakes (delicious)and then waited forever for the dumplingsthat I had to remind waitress that we ordered. My entree was the crabmeat fried rice and although there was hardly any crabmeat, the shrimp on top were great. All in all the service was pretty awful and that's why we will try Zabb Thai in West Nyack and seehow that goes. Read more

My first Thai meal was a success this evening. The woman who took my order over the phone was friendly, warm, and extremely... courteous. I ordered Pan Thai mild as per her suggestion and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband was pleased with his meal aswell. We look forward to dining in and meeting Kwan. Read more

The restaurant serves a genuinely hot thai spice, but there's a bit of a sports bar vibe mixed in. Also a bit expensive here.... The glass noodles and curry weren't bad. If you're craving something VERY spicy, come here for the thai spice, but go for thelunch prices. Read more
