My husband and I went for dinner last night. He had the open steak sandwich and I had fish. For appetizers he had chicken... tenders with sesame seed and I had the mussels in a garlic white wine sauce. Everything was delicious. The sauce on my musselswas so tasty I found myself eating the leftover sauce with a spoon. The steak was cooked to protection and came with mashedpotatoes. My branzino fish came with rice. The sauce with light yet not overwhelming so you could taste the fish. The servicewas great the people friendly and we ate outside which was so nice. There are several trees and flowers around the deck. Veryrelaxing atmosphere ???? we will definitely visit again. Read more
Louie's on the Avenue is a very special restaurant. The menu is always spot on and their deserts are all home made (my personal... fave is their pecan pie). Louies is good not great. Portions are adequate not too small not big. Bang bang shrimp were under breaded and under seasoned. ... Octopus was just a little too small of a portion. The veal scaloppine was a little small and veggies were room temp. We satnext to the loudest group of women I've ever heard so that definitely affected my experience. Jean our server was excellent.
