I come to this pizza place 2 or 3 times a year as I visit from overseas. The pizza is amazing the owners always have time to... chat and remember the last conversations. Shakers of cheese garlic and red pepper .. pizza by the slice, and an actual NY slice. Two will do . Did I mention the pizza is fantastic. This time I ordered and had delivered the giant 24 inch pie. I always get takeout and buy individual slices, so this review will just be for that. The chicken grandma vodka is my most... favourite pizza ever. It is ridiculously tasty. The plain cheese, pepperoni and other flavors are all fine but the grandmapizzas are just something else. I introduced it to my coworkers and now they love it too. I don't eat pizza very often but whenI do it's usually the pizza from Russo's :) The wait time is very minimal and the customer service is good. Read more
We did a cheese pizza taste off between Russo?s and Martio?s while visiting my brother I. Law. Russo?s pizza is on the left. ... Martios was more professional and timely pickup. And had a better tasting crust; negative points was - super greasy, and pizzacrust sagged mid way through. Russo?s won out over all. The pizza slice remained horizontal when held (Martino?s sagged ),cheese and sauce over all better flavor. Notice pizza difference as well- we ordered the same size! The food here is creative, fresh, and delicious! Everything is homemade, including their sinfully tasty ice cream. When picking... up our order from Russo?s, my husband mentioned we got married last week and they gave us a free container of their ice cream asa gift! They were so nice! Grabbed a cheese pie and garlic knots to go ? first time trying Russo?s despite living in nearby Nanuet for decades. Both the... pizza and the knots were excellent.
